Around 40, of which over half at my watchmaker. Way too many, but I can't help it...compulsive buyer sometimes
Currently on 8 but fear it's going to go up as have discovered g shocks to go with a couple of the more valuable ones.
This makes me feel a bit more normal (at least in terms of the weirdos on here  )
I've been at it for over ten years and have bought 185 watches in that time, sold around 160, so I'm down to 20-something. I suppose you'd say I'm sick... but I'm getting better! :D
Just into double figures, which puts me worryingly into the "more than most pople on this forum" category so far. I am a bit surprised by that???
That's the direction I'm heading in, with some going to cover a Hublot, although initially I was aiming for an AP ROOD too.Originally Posted by cmcm3

My faithful G Shock, Omega POC, Patek 5205 & an Omega Seamaster from the year that I was born. :happy7:
And I have no future plans to add on that figure.......................Trust me.......I'm a Doctor LOL
7 in the watch box with the collection having remained stable for 12 months without any ins or outs :? . Perhaps I'm cured???
Currently at 9, of which I only really wear 4 (in rotation) :?
So I'm trying to downsize (hear that before )

4.
I was up to around 15 at one point, but I hate having watches I don't wear much.
20-something. Not sure as there have been a couple of departures and new additions this year and I haven't had a recount
I'm probably around 9 or 10 but would have to look to be sure, a few are not worth mentioning and only use 3 myself and my G/F uses another.
Currently running at 5, but have another 5 or so in storage / loft. Got an incoming and two possibles in the pipeline.
The SubLVc and GMT2c were sacrificed for the ROOD. I just wasn't picking them. The DSSD is going to be offloaded soon to recoup some of the RGDD cash, but I just realised that in my list I forgot about the Zenith Daytona. Damnit! :lol:Originally Posted by esm
About three hundred, but in various states, and only about twenty which I would consider of any kind of value!
Stems from buying watch lots, to sift out the cream, leaves a lot of junk, but I get rid of them in bulk.
I have no use for ladies watches, so give them away at every opportunity, and dress watches possibly have
a hundred, ranging from Rotary, limit, Pierre Cardin, to Q&Q and all manner of tosh.
Sounds crazy I know, but after finding the Gems, It leaves a lot of free gifts to friends and family, I've made my
profit on the good stuff, so what is left is freebies!
I've never understood the appeal of having more than maybe two or three watches at most. I mean, I'd rather have one nice Patek than ten different Omegas and Breitlings for example.
I currently have 8 in my collection.
5 at the moment, but I am already planning my next purchase...
If I'm away from home for more than a week I end up looking at my watch with loathing even if it's something quite decent. I don't think there's anything transcendent about a Patek that would prevent that happening.Originally Posted by th0m
How many watches do I own? I depends who is asking.
Honest answer: Around 80 . . . that matter. A few more that are abandoned / mistakes / irrelevant / too lazy to sell. I wear them all; if I am not wearing a watch, them I should sell it (in a perfect world).
Jeff
I hadn't counted recently (but just did) and do not consider myself a collector, but it is 30.
There are only a couple that I would consider getting rid of at the moment, too.
Got several other "addictions" already, and recently had to buy a bigger house........Originally Posted by yonsson

See below !!
I'm on about 45.
At the start of the year, wouldn't have planned it to be anything like that, but since finding TZ, I've discovered vintage watches, G Shocks, Russian watches and SC so it's all your fault.
Malc
my watch case has six slots so i limit myself to erm.... seven
always can wear one on the wrist
I have narrowed it down to 3 watches: Breitling Bentley Motors T, bronze dial on speed bracelet. Breitling Super Avenger, black dial baton markers and my work watch G-Shock G-7900 !-)
I went 20 to 30 because that's how many I think I have right now.
"A man of little significance"
Around 20 or so for me and more of them are vintage watches ....
11 at the moment with 3 incoming (all cheapies) and enough money in the pot for a Speedbird which I may well pull the trigger on soon.
Collection ranges from under £50 - Timex, Casio, HMT up to my jewel, a Rolex Explorer.
Around the 200 mark I reckon.
When they take up such little room there is really no desire to get rid of any.
Cheers,
Neil.
Interesting, at least I'm in the majority with 6-10. Most of mine are cheapies with a couple expensive ones Ulysse Nardin and a PAM. Be worth updating the poll to get a 'total value', now that would be revealing
73
Half of them are G-Shocks, ProTreks and Seiko and Citizen divers, but also three Omega's and four Longines.
Mostly divers, and military linked watches.
Arrrghh! Longines Legend Diver! That's 10.Originally Posted by cmcm3

'Kin el' not sure my wife would agree with that ! 7 at the moment, trying 1 in 1 out, but the 1 out bit doen't seem to be working ! :DOriginally Posted by Neil.C
21 at the moment, but I've got my eyes on 3 more so that figure could increase.
comfortably upper quartile at 43. Like many newbies, I tended to buy everything in sight that was in budget - rather more discerning (but no smarter) now.
You know you're in trouble when you've got three gym watches.
A mere 3, 5513 Sub, blackface ExpII and my G Shock 6900 1ER solar atomic. Most I think I've ever had was 7, so much more reasonable these days.
5 for me. Although i'm on the look out for one more. I think that will be it for me. All mine are high end and the misses is starting to get twitchy.
I'm on around 15 (not including Swatches :S). Rolex, Corum, Glycine, Seiko, Girard Perregaux, Casio, Stowa, and Suunto all getting a look in. Must sell some, really.
6-10, with 3 getting most of the wear.
13 plus 2 incoming. problem is, i wear them regularly all but 1, so nothing to sell, really..
or maybe, this is the way it has to be, so i'm doing well :D
Three watches for me. I purchased my Omega Speedmaster pro eight years ago new, it was my only watch until the end of last year when I picked up a Jorg Gray quartz chrono for a bit of fun, that was joined earlier this year by a Tarnan Oceanographer which is currently getting the most wrist time.
Its 8 for me, although i've lost count of how many i've had over the last couple of years, I am planning on shedding a couple to make room for one though, so that should come down.
I can't believe someone has said they have none! now 100+ watches might be weird, but being on a watch forum with none is surely weirder.
Just one ugly one
Slowly building a small collection of radio controlled watches. Keep buying with the intention of selling some but never quite get round to the selling bit!
5, Couple of Tags , an Oris , a PO and a Citizen diver for daily work.
Problem with mine is they get a bit of a hammering at work so I try and keep a couple for best.
