Looks absolutely fantastic (but not on the Bremont strap) 8) .
Does it wear particularly "large"?
Took "a few" shots of the JLC today
On a Bremont Velcro
On the JLC leather

I'm absolutely loving this watch.

My wrist is 7.25" so not really

I think it looks fantastic! Really impressed and all the Navy Seal stuff said on forums, at the end of the day it is a limited model inspired by the Navy Seals and nothing more.
I would definitely have one and gladly wear it.
It's just a matter of time...
:D
Very nice Andy - looking at this and the alarm version :)
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
It's only since seeing your pictures that I've noticed the hands are half solid.
Looks great.
Have you had any other JLCs ? How does it compare? - quality, finish ....
great pictures. I have the Alarm version. Need to take and post some pics!
Cheers. This is my first JLC, but the quality & finish is certainly very good.Originally Posted by I a n

Jeeze, Andy....I can't get away from your pics! Again, a beaut.
That looks great! I think the strap fits well...
Nice one. Me likey. :)
I have a MC Diving Chrono on Toshi strap and I love it too.
JLC makes great watches.
Great pics (and watch)!
Fantastic pictures, the detail you have captured is better than 'in the flesh'. I am sitting here looking at mine almost seeing new aspects.
Really good showcase for something special (not on the velcro  ).
Not sure if it's any easy comparison but how would you say it rates/stands up next to your (ex?) Glashutte Sport Evo?
Alex
JLC ROCKS  :drunken:
Amazing watch :) :bounce:
ps can you all stop taking pics of watches on really hard things like bricks. It really makes me wince :)
The JLC is much more of a tool watch, but clearly both high end divers that are unlikely to ever be used for diving by most owners (me included). I'd say the quality of manufacture was pretty similar.Originally Posted by luckyal

A stunning piece
Well done!

That is a great watch. :D
I think i'd agree 100%. Neither of mine are likely to even make the shower! The JLC is much more of a tool watch, but clearly both high end divers that are unlikely to ever be used for diving by most owners (me included). I'd say the quality of manufacture was pretty similar.
They do have similar qualities despite being so very different.
Hi Andy
Another lovely addition , not bad going !
Interesting looking watch , I've not seen that type of crown guard before....and I really like the matt finish on the bezel.
Not sure re the stencil font....and I prefer it on the JLC leather option.
All the best - Neil
Nice watch, but almost $10,000 for that watch? I can get almost two new Rolex Submariners for that price, and then sell them for more money later on. Also, for a navy watch. I can guarantee you a Vostok Amphibian is way more tougher than that watch as a navy seal watch.
RRP is £5,900 & I got a discount. If you can get brand new sub dates with 2 year warranties, all the box & papers for under £3,000 I'll have several please.Originally Posted by Riseman Weather

My MM300 & Sinn 757 are tougher too.

Another good looking piece in your collection.
Good photos too. What lens are you using there? Ring flash?
I think the JLC is a little bit less common though...Originally Posted by Riseman Weather

Great looking watch, I wish my pictures turned out that well.

It's as good as I've experienced - I've not handled that many high end pieces, but I'd say it's in the Glashutte Original, Blancpain and VC league.Originally Posted by johnfm

How is the time keeping?
Or too early to tell yet?
I like it - I'd have one!
I must admit it's nice to see a Master Compressor that looks like it wasn't designed by Stevie Wonder and a four year old with a box of crayons..........

Congrats!
Stunning watch, one of the nicest divers out there.
a lovely looking watch and if I had the money i'd take this over a rolex sub or 2 all day long.
far less awareness generally and the design is great.
and a brand that seems to be held in very high regard for its in house movements.
So much better than the twin crown in my opinion, which just comes up verso slightly too large. Very tasty.
Lovely looking watch & photos - this really isn't helping me not buying one !
Absolutely gorgeous!
Very nice watch!!!
I love that JLC!! Possibly my next watch. :)
I really like the look of this watch, I mean really like it.
Excellent wrist shot of one of the few modern watches I'd be interested in.
Wonderfull watch !
Congrats :bounce:
I really like the blue bezel, and the clasp shot....mmmmmm
That's not a crown guard it is the compressor (Master compressor ) sealing system. It rotates to lock down the crown for improved water resistance. The little red arrows are open the crown is unlocked.Originally Posted by flame
Nice watch but the crown looks a bit pointy and painful.
No doubt a SEAL could deal with the pain...
Can't tell you how happy we all in here are that you did't "waste" your money on this watchOriginally Posted by Riseman Weather
buy two subs and a Vostok Amphibian when you join the navy seal
Have you ever seen a JLC IRL :?:
and do you know what kind of a watch it is :?:
My dear watch friend try to google JLCs 1000 hour test
trust me it will survive the navy to :)
Congrats Andy - very nice watch and good pics too. I've always liked this model and the bigger twin crown 44mm version though i think this might be the more wearable of the two. Agree with others though that the Bremont strap doesnt do it any favours - looks much better on the JLC strap imo, anyway enjoy :)
Very nice indeed, would love to try one of them actually.
Let me know when your flipping it
great looking watch
Well, there are many on here who had have had most and spent far more the you quote - others spend substantially less and get equal if not more pleasure from our hobby.Originally Posted by Riseman Weather
It takes all sorts of tastes and dislikes - in the watch world, for some $10k is minor pocket money
Maybe one day somebody will pi$$ on your latest acquisition in an equally non constructive way
