    Jocke's superb (as always) photograph gets right to the heart of the matter. It shows the clarity of the design and puts it in a perfect context.

    So, why did Rolex ever bother to change it?

    Certainly, there's been nothing better since and, looking at the present ceramic, at least one worse.

    I haven't had coke from a glass bottle in years! I remember the fridged coke vending machines from the sixties. Cool! .................. and coke just doesn't taste like it used to. :roll:
