Think the steering wheel lock is a little misguided.
Think the steering wheel lock is a little misguided.
Perhaps someone who's been lobotomised might think it a good buy.
We take these things as a joke, but over in Eastern Europe that would be worth several grand!
Best bit for me was the fact he says it has been sat in a grage for 10 years and that "it ran fine when it was driven in to the garage".
Sounds promising then
It'll need bloody all sorts doing not least every rubber hose replacing and no doubt hydraulic seals and that'll just be for starters, probably cost another £1000 to get it road worthy

I had a load of fun with one of these back in the '90s, including a class win in the Scottish Tarmac Rally Championship. They are virtually indestuctible. Still wouldn't pay £1K for a standard one, though!
Vintage at its best!! haha
That's a real time capsule.
i knew a guy who worked in a Lada dealership, he made a killing shipping them from the uk to Russia got good money for them out there.
On a related note, a few years ago I was looking out a hotel window in Kiev and saw one of these Zhiguli estates fishtailing into the kerb and then barrel-rolling several times. It was like watching a film LOL
(the folks got out ok, they were probably drunk!)
No Time Wasters! still, good mileage, nice runner, ugliest thing I've ever seen... Sally Gunnell

He must think it's a classic, looks like a sideboard with wheels...vile
A nice low mileage example, only 2509 miles on the clock, I wonder how many times it has been round.
Looks rough for 2500 miles!
It's just a matter of time...
