    can anyone identify this piece.
    1940's miltary watch.
    was it used by germany or any other country during the war?

    Never seen that... which doesn't mean much, though. Since any military markings, regardless of the country, would be on the back - could we see a picture of that, please?

    Not a typical 1940's military watch ... the center seconds could indicate aviation use, as most field watches of that period had sub-seconds.
