Two Greedy Italians... name the watches

I caught this last night, and it was brilliant. They love the nicer things in life, great food, an old Alfa etc, their watches looked interesting, but I couldn't ID them.. anyone know?.. or indeed, just enjoyed the show?

I don't normally play this game unless the watches are unusual. Haven't seen this week's yet, but last week Carluccio had a Mazzuoli
on at one point. His mate had a Breitling Chrono, but changed it for (possibly) a Daytona, I think.

    BTW, very enjoyable programme.

Well, they certainly seem big watch fans.

You are quite right, it's very enjoyable to watch. I know it's been on for a few weeks now, but dismissed it as another TV-chefery-show.. glad I tuned in now.

The white haired one was wearing the Giuliano Mazzuoli last night. Never noticed the other ones TBH.

The younger one had a Navitimer on i think. I was too busy laughing and salivating by equal measure!

I thought that the impoverished shepherd they featured may have been wearing a watch with an Oyster bracelet and possibly a salmon pink dial [Rolex]. The bloke with the motor boat and Pasta factory had a Panerai of some sort. Whilst I struggled somewhat with the two presenters I enjoyed the programme, the scenery and the food. I would rather have what they cooked, than the 450 Euro meal at the 2 star restaurant they went to at the end.

Just not sure I would eat Sea Urchin :pukeleft:

My parents took me to Amalfi and Minori when I was about 10 - sadly I was too young to appreciate the beauty of the place but that was a great program. They're both being such interesting personalities, great chefs and former rivals which adds to the banter. Unusually I didn't pay attention to their watches but the PVR is set to record next week's program!

I tried it in Sicily a few years ago, on the basis that I'll try anything once.

Let's just say it's very much an acquired taste - once was more than enough for me...
