That looks alot like an Ollech & Wajs Type 401 Military Chronograph.

    From Chronomaster.

    Best wishes,
    Bob

    .
I cannot remember exactly where I?ve seen these recently but my memory says it was on a Chinese ebay site ... I might be wrong.

The ?V7765? struck a chord because you used to see that with the ?V7733?. I got the feeling that the next big Chinese invasion would be copies of everything using bona fide Swiss movements in Chinese made cases.

Do you ever buy anything from a Chinese eBay site?

    Best wishes,

I think Bob's ID'd it for us. :thumbright:

Why doesn't the seller state O & W in the first place?

£350 from Chronomaster - pretty good value I reckon!

In make it harder to do a search and find out the new/used prices, etc., I would guess.

    Best wishes,
    Bob

Because I think Mr W dips in the same pot as others ... many of these watches are generic. The CWC for around the same money is a cleaner design IMHO.

I agree, albeit not with the case. Couldn't they all use a split-second outer chapter instead of a minute chapter as well? They are mechanical chronos after all...

Maybe because there is no O&W -logo on dial or on case back. Usually O&W -watches are good value but this model is not so much. How ever you can get it around 300 Pounds from somewhere else.

But a little bit more money you will get CWC 7765 what is steel cased compared to O&W:s chromed case.

And also (at least) closer to "real UK MOD" watch compared to O&W.

1: Why is this not such a good value?

2: You don't think this is a stainless steel case?
