That's crap for a high value watch. I've never seen a quartz.

Even inside a frank muller long island isn't very impressive (yes one day had to trip in there, the crown was pulling out), a huge watch with a tiny eta movement, sure its been changed but it did surprise me to see such a small movement in such a large watch.. Although nothing against frank muller's they are very cool looking watches.

Is the case forged and then worked with a cnc machine? Or is it just a machined piece from a bit of steel cut to size?

    Cheers

FM quartz movement have a Geneva finish stripes plate. Quarts movements are only used in the Ladies collection.

Whilst you can upgrade a mechanical movement with better parts and decoration (for little actual cost), there really isn't much that you can do to a quartz movement (the pcb tracks are already gold plated!) to increase the perceived value. I'm not sure what you expected to see really. :?: Mass produced electronics are dirt cheap and tend to look it.
