Cleaning speck of dust from a dial

    Hi all,

ive just bought a tag twintime from ebay as an every day wearer, delighted with it and its in lovely nick, however there are two tiny specs of dust on the chapter ring, i only noticed them after a week or so,

im thinking of having my local jeweller clean the dial, what would be involved in him doing this, should i leave well enough alone?

its the white/silver dialled version btw

Personally anything i bought from ebay i would probably have serviced anyway (dependent on con, age, ) but if it didn't need a service and you intent to keep wait until it did and have it removed then, i don't see the point of adding extra cost to what you probably see as a bargin.

I'd wait until service time as well unless you have a watchmaker you trust not to make a horlicks of it
