As I'm at home, nursing a sore back, it's the Open Golf (in HD) and a spot of vintage Seikoness:

    Have a good weekend, everyone.

It's supposed to be monsoon here - blue skies and not a drop of rain.

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Going through a phase of finding many watches uninspiring, but that one sparked my interest. Got a lived in look that I really like :-)

    Re: A Very Wet Friday

Been wearing this one all week..
The time has moved by only 1 second - which makes it my best timekeeper...

There are many things I like about this watch - it's a development of the Speedy - a bit bigger, lighter - titanium - waterproof to 100m and it has date and GMT, the carbon dial looks good and different in varying lights.. and is very easy to read - all in all a fantastic watch..

PRS14 on its new Hirsch Mobile. A waterproof strap is de rigeur around here at the moment.

I approached fitting it with some trepidation but it popped on easily and has a good fit to the case.

A combination of 'hardening up' and 'shirking the dirty jobs' has seen me wearing this '72 6105-8110 to work since Wednesday.

    Enjoy your weekend

    Re: A Very Wet Friday

New yesterday, another on the rose gold theme, and very different from my others - Seiko SBCM023 and '63 re-issue. Amusing press release about the Citizen here: http://www.citizenwatch.jp/baselworld_2 ... drier.html

Like the watch, and was quite prepared to have to guess the date for 3 or 4 days around the middle of the month. (The other two watches in the range have perforated hands I notice.)

Review to follow in a lunar cycle or two...

    Best

I do like the 356s. And I wish I had "spare" watch like that, that I could wear when I got inspired by something.

Anyway, Speedy on Rios leather for me today.
