Benefit cheat jailed - he didn't have a leg to stand on!

Fiddled £40k on disability benefits and got rumbled doing a desert trek on a tv show. Idiot.

He went to court, but didn't have a leg to stand on....

    Thief got caught - good.

What frustrates me is that there must be many thousands of people who do this andget away with it.

Well, the tax evaders are bad too. But at least create wealth as they pay some tax and employ people who pay tax via paye.

You can't justify tax evasion just as you can justify benefit fraud, both are stealing from state and therefore from law-abiding people.

His mistake is not being an MP.

His punishment would be a stern telling off by the boss, then back to his happy family to carry on as normal.
