    Fiat with unreliable bells on.
 That's a bit harsh. The Busso V6 is a classic engine.

Finally got the 964T on track at Oulton today. What a fantastic day for it :)

Having never been on track in a Porsche before, all I can say is, it was an education  :drunken: :D

Just need to find an MRT spotlight kit for it to replace the utterly useless foglamps.

Couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a picture of the Mini outside the main hall of Tempelhof airport last weekend. It is one of my abiding regrets that I never flew from this airport while it was still open.

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

I don't have a road licence, because I didn't want to "waste" my money when I was 17. I have however, got a motorcycle racing licence. So just before I was 17 I got my 'baby'. To me it was a bit more unusual than my friends Clios!

I have got a car too, but once again it is a bit out of the ordinary.

    Re: What do you drive?

Our 147 GTA is going today after three good years of ownership. Cracking car and the first time in almost nine years that we haven't had an Alfa in the house. Sad really. Still, we have the Fiat 500 and also picking up a new Ford KA (I know, not exactly a car in a similar genre) today. I'd love to pick up a Maserati 4200 or even another Alfa however the Alfas need a bit more power at the minute to make me like them enough. So common sense has prevailed and the result is two sensible, friendly little cars. Good or bad? I am not sure yet. Pocket says yea, heart says okay-ish!

Hi, first post, so I thought I'd have a go in my comfort zone. I know about cars and have joined this forum as I want to know more about watches. I've owned a couple of Rolex watches (Oyster Date (daily wearer for 11 years) and Sub Date) but feel I'm missing out on the less mainstream - so here's hoping this forum opens my eyes to all sorts of tempting time pieces!

My car, a 2001 E39 M5. Subtle, comfortable, full of goodies and brutally fast:

In fairness the only TVR breakdown (in 10k+ miles) was only an air flow meter, easy fix and the Alfa (touch wood) has been great

Before moving to the UK, I drove Volvos for 10 years, then a Mercedes C220, then a Ford Explorer (couldn't get all the dive gear in that Merc). Now I have a rusted out POS Vauxhall that may not pass its next MOT.

    Well done, Simone!

Development mule for the XJ220 - apparently a whole XJ220 chassis with the Tranny body welded on top, similar wheelbase

    Re: What do you drive?

After recently selling my Wifes Astra which she had owned for the last 4+ years she wanted something a little bit quicker.

She has gone from a 1.6 Astra with 90bhp to a Mazda 3 MPS Aero delivering 260 BHP  that said she has had fast cars before so she is not phased by it, quite the opposite she absolutely loves her new toy to bits.

I keep trying to take it out for a bit of a blast but she is having none of it and I don't blame her :blackeye:

Anyway, here it is after a proper clean & wax by me:

Performance is very impressive and I have to say the car as a whole is proving to be superb :) . It's only done 5,000 miles so hardly broken in yet.

    Cheers

    Paul
