I've had deliveries take 3 days but then I've also had deliveries take 3 weeks...................
Hi guys - my Getat Italian style watch apparently left HK on Friday the 26th. Does anyone have a notion when it will be popping in my door? I'm in Belgium right now but I presume it will be much the same wherever you are in the EU.
Any clues appreciated!

A week is par for the course in my experience.
7-10 days from previous experience.
3 to 5 days for me.

Just had a delivery from there took 10 days including customs
Thanks for the info guys!
Mine entered the Hong Kong postal system on Friday (26/02) as well.Originally Posted by barneygumble

If you get the wrong watch we can probably swap them over ;-)
I had something take 5 weeks before Christmas

I think we actually could! I seem to remember you ordered something very similar to me - 'super lume' Luminor style, seal strap, titanium case, PVD movement (for the heck of it!).Originally Posted by nesima
I'd appreciate it if you let me know when yours arrived as mine is being delivered (I think) to my work address at a building I don't often visit... 8)
Most things I've had sent from HK have arrived pretty quickly, a few days is quite common. In most cases it's faster than stuff arrives from the States anyway, and similar to times from Japan...
Tonight I'm wearing a new watch :D Posted from Japan on the 25th :D
PS. Honk
I ordered the following:Originally Posted by barneygumble

Case Option : Polished Steel
Front glass : Mineral Glass
Hands Colour : black
Movement : Normal Stainless Steel
Stitch Option : White

Ordered two watches a month ago from HK - the second one arrived in 4 days, the first is still not here and I am pretty sure that I'll never see it :(
If you're getting things sent from HK, I recommend asking the sender to use the simple Speedpost EMS from Hong Kong Post. This is what I use and - so far, fingers crossed, touch wood, etc, etc- no problems. Delivery within 3-5 days.
The best bit is that they will let you insure watches for whatever you like. Fedex and others here will only insure a watch for up to around 500 Euros.

7-10 days, unless customs jump on 'em.....where is HONK kong btw?

Amazingly bright lume, the standard movement in mine is really attractive, the standard crystal is really
clear and movement winds with a real positive feel.
Well pleased.
That's great -I'm very pleased with mine too, aside from a little dust inside the display back, and the fact that it takes me 2 minutes to wind the thing. And I just spotted (thanks to a fellow poster!) that I've created a new city, 'Honk Kong'. I could edit it, but it might give someone a laugh... :)Originally Posted by nesima
Mine arrived today also. Very pleased.
Couple of comments though:
1 Should I have ordered the 47mm instead of the 44mm? I have chunky wrists and the 24mm strap to 44mm case is as close proportionally as it could be.
2 I specified the polished steel case, yet the arm on the crown guard has brushed finish (as per the pictures on the website) - minor detail.
Am I happy with it?
Well enough to order another to address the above points!
