Very cool pictures here: The Selvedge Yard.

The blog is quite cool, lots of vintage stuff....

"Steve McQueen with his Triumph motorcycle, sporting a Barbour jacket" Thought that looked familiar, I have got the modern recreation. I didnt realise the man wore one :)

There's an excellent book on McQueen and his toys by Matt Stone with a load of period stuff and some superb photography by Evan Klein of some of McQueen's old cars. The shots of the Lusso on his site are superb:

That's the funny thing to me, he looked just as natural as Thomas Crown in "The Thomas Crown Affair" as he did as Michael Delaney in "Le Mans" or Vigil Hilts in "The Great Escape."

If you like Steve McQueen and bikes, hire a copy of 'on any Sunday', some classic footage.

Le Mans - my all time favorite movie and the best portrayal of a racer I have ever seen (I guess because he was one so he understood the breed.) Also the lines must have been easy to learn, there are so few of them. :D
