Very nice chap 8)
Some of you may recall, a while ago i asked for opinions of the Omega Speedmaster Co-axial Chronometer versus the Professional. It was to be an engagement present for me and after much thought, i plumped for the Co-axial Chrono just because it's size felt better on my wrist.
After a long wait (only a few weeks, but seemed long enough to me) the watch arrived and i collected it last week. The jeweller left the whole thing in its packaging so that i was the person to take off all the seals, plastic protection etc. It was nice to take 'ownership' of the watch that way, especially considering what they cost.
Today i got round to taking a few shots, light is poor and i'm anything but a good photographer, but i hope you enjoy 8) They are in no particular order and just random shots i took.

Rusty
Very nice chap 8)
That is very nice 8) 8)
I have to say, no matter what the purists say, that would be my choice over the manual wind version... Oh yes indeed :)
Very cool... and superb photos...
Very nice indeed, one of my favourites....
Very nice watch and very good pictures!

Thats lovely. Great pics but that background makes my eyes go funny
Excellent. The Pro has its charm but that one is a marvellous beast too 8)

Co-Axial Speedie - new one on me and very cool.
Superb piece, great photos 8)
"I looked with pity not untinged with scorn upon these trivial-minded passers-by"
Ive never been one for chronograph watches but that is very, very nice indeed! 8)
Very nice watch and very nice pics. It also has date compared to the moon watch, so it is less historic, but more practical and with a better movement (co-axial technology). Enjoy!
great watch, great pics,
love the lume one with the 45 PO 8)
Lovely watch!
Like an earlier poster I have loved this and the Pro for sometime. be it not for my cursed small wrists I'd have one of these in a flash.
Enjoy.
Congratulations, that's a great watch. I love the lume photo.
regards,
Nick
I like, great modern take on the classic!

Kind regards

Lovely watch, I'm hoping my own one arrives soon! What size wrist are you as it suits your wrist perfectly, I'm a tiny bit worried it's going to be a touch large on mine.. :blackeye:
Fantastic watch, congrats - all the class of the original, with a modern twist.
Is is the enamel dial version or the plain black?
By coincidence, I was with a mate earlier in the week when we went around shops looking at this (among other Omegas) for his engagement present!
Having seen it on the wrist, I have to say it's a lovely looking watch. Classic design and proportions, with the added benefits of better crystal, automatic mechanism and date window.
I wouldn't change my Moonwatch, but I wouldn't mind this in my collection at all! :) Great choice there mate, hope you enjoy it
Alex
My wrist is around 8.5", fits snug with the full bracelet, but i've just ordered a spare link as i reckon that, come summer, it'll be too snug.Originally Posted by hendo

Gorgeous watch mate, nice choice!
IMHO this is so much nicer and technically better than the manual winding, dateless pro!
If it kept the 42mm proportions I'd have had one but unfortunately at 44.25mm it's just a little too big for me.
Looks great on your larger wrist though, enjoy it mate, it's a beauty!
Don't bother responding in defence of the pro as you'll not convert me  it's my opinion is all.
So you went against advice and ignored the pro?
I wish you good luck with your watch as the 3313 has a poor reputation for reliability IMO. :?
Cheers,
Neil.

However, the dial looks somewhat vast and the sud-dials sort of squeezed together towards the centre, a little, at least compared to the pro :?
And don't even get me started on the date issue
Not defending the pro, just sharing my 2p, you understand

Congrats mate - I love the open back - I have one too with an open back but it has a white dial. 8)
Just because i chose something that might've been advised against (by some) does not mean that i ignored that advise, it just means i made an informed decision. The fact of the matter is that the Pro was too small and didn't feel right on the wrist. I have a 3yr warranty with the co-ax and an excellent and friendly AD, just have to hope the watch spends more time on my wrist than back with Omega :POriginally Posted by Neil.C

THIN is the new BLACK
Lovely! I don't get tired of seeing speedy's even my own every day.
I find their time keeping pretty amazing for a mechanical, and with some luck the co-ax getting sold today are up to par to the older ones when it comes to reliability.
crucify him  he didnt go go for the "origonal moon watch"
I've read as much as I could on the 3313 movement and although I'm dubious I'm also hopeful that the issues that they had have now been sorted. Most of the articles or complaints were back a few years and I haven't really seen anything recent about it so I'm hoping that points towards things being ironed out!
8.5" wrist! Erk, mine is about 7", I think it might swamp my wrist and look too bling, I really hope not!
Mine is about 7 too and its OK with the 44.25 solar impulse. I definitely wouldn't want it any bigger, but it's all right. Not weird or anything.Originally Posted by hendo
Great choice.
If money was no object I may have been tempted by the Auto version too. I tried on both and didn't really notice the difference in size. What was more noticeable was how little distortion the crystal had when viewed on an angle compared with the acrylic.
Chris.
That's good to hear, thanks.Originally Posted by JCviggen
