    serial killers ...who,s your favourite

i know its obvious most people (including my self) would,nt agree with a serial killers antics , but i have always been interested in reading about them and what they got up to , i used to own a lot of copies of the magazine murder casebooks but i could,nt keep up with all the copies which were published ,so that means there was a lot of killers i missed , one of my favourites to read about was ted bundy ( what a pyscho).

Less known Barry Prudham would be my choice. He was the nutter that went on a rampage across a number of counties proclaiming to be ex SAS and his end was a rather violent one in North Yorkshire, Helmsley I believe.

In the seventies a certain police officer was asked why he'd shot Barry Prudham six times.

"Because I ran out of bullets" was the reply.

Re: serial killers ...who,s your favourate

Peter Sutcliffe is without doubt my favorite. I take great pleasure in reading all the stories that leak out of Broadmoor and end up in the tabloid press. Stories about how he got his eye gouged out by a fellow inmate, and how he was stabbed with a pen in the other good eye, leaving him almost totally blind. Another of how he cried like a baby when they moved him from his quite luxurious cell to a tiny box room. Then there was the story that his weight ballooned to 19 stone and was told by doctors that he would have to diet or die, so they put him on a keep fit program, but because of his blindness, he refuses to use the showers. So he spends his days living in his own dirty mess, stinking of sweat and BO, paranoid with fear of being attacked by another inmate trying to make a name for himself.... Couldn't happen to a nicer fella

A close second place goes to Moors Murder Ian Brady, a guy who has spent the last forty five years trying to kill himself, begging the courts to allow him to die, taking overdoses, starving himself to the point of death, only to be saved to suffer his torment another day.

God am I glad we do not have the death penalty in Britain.

Kinda odd topic, but fascinating nontheless :)

Jeffrey Dahmer is an interesting one - he was essentially trying to create a "live sex toy" by lobotomizing victims.... How he eventually got caught is rather shocking too, it was amazing that he was actually found out, get Googling!

Re: serial killers ...who,s your favourate

Kind of difficult to have a "favourite", but the nuttiest must be Jeffrey Dahmer. Although David Berkowitz killed 6 people because a demonic dog told him to, so I guess he comes in a close second.

I can't get beyond the thought that having a favourite serial killer is a bit disturbing!

I do hope that there aren't any psychoanalysts reading this thread. Or any serial killers.

I agree with the comments that this is a strange thread. Either the OP has a dry sense of humour or has had a few sherberts & is messing about.

I went to the black museum in New Scotland Yard & the guy who ran it at the time freely admitted he (and many others) cried when they heard the recordings Hindley & Brady made. I am of the belief that as Brady commited his crimes before the human rights act was invented then he has no human rights.

Waterboard him (or use any means) to get the truth & locations of innocents to give their families peace.

I also believe anyone who invalidates anyone else's human rights automatically invalidates their own.

    A very emotive thread.

I think it's OK to have an interest in "True Crime", and that was point of view the OP was posting from. Perhaps 'who's most interesting' would have been a better choice than 'who's your favourite'. :) Anyway, enough of that, I'm off to work on my "Which was the best concentration camp?" poll.

    The one living next door!

Actually; obsessive sociopath, perfectionist, control freak. The profile fits a lot of people here.
If there is one can I suggest Davina McCall.

As a potential victim? I'd second that. Any other bids? I'm getting a bit fed up with quite a few so-called celebrities!

We should have mercenaries going around topping the drug lords and criminals,i'd love to do this undercover, getting the tip off from the police and crediting your bank account with some wonga for your services.
so these people{if we had them!}would be my fav killers, they would be doing us all a great service getting shut of the scum on the streets.
