Ugly beyond belief, and £12K
I have my opinions but what do you think.
A thing of beauty or is it the mother of all ugly watches
By the way its costs £12k
Ugly beyond belief, and £12K
Cool and ugly at the same time imho. There's one for sale on ebay right now... I'm curious, very curious!
I'm not as think as you drunk I am.
Looks a like an eBay frankenwatch like those supposed Panerias with open hearts. I'll offer £25.
Utterly pointless. :laughing5:
Well IMHO.
"A thing of beauty or is it the mother of all ugly watches?"
Mama............................... :binky:

If it weren't for some U-Boats, I'd say it's the ugliest watch I've ever seen :pale:

Nuff said.

I agree 100% apart from some grahams its by far the uggliest watch I have ever seen and £12k im sorry I woudnt pay £12 its fugly beyond words I would rather have a JLC,Patek or AP for that and at least people will like them this is just beyond words, I think a 5 years old child could have done better in fact it looks like and airfix kit gone wrong
i,ve seen worse, zenith continue to lose the plot

Looks like a Vent Axia. But if one came along at the right price I'd consider it.
dunk
"Well they would say that ... wouldn't they!"
I'm thinking it's an acquired taste.
It's just not a taste that I can ever see myself acquiring.

Now as your asking.....................Bloody awful looking watch.
Terrible, just terrible,Zenith really have lost the plot with this one
The old boss of Zenith responsible for these hideous things have resigned hasn't he? I can“t remember his name though.
I saw a new Zenith Model, can't remember name yet again, which was much nicer and true to the Zenith heritage. I hope I wasn't just dreaming.
Can anyone confirm this?
Cheers

Well its certainly not the ugliest i've seen.

GOT...TO...KILL...CAPTAIN STUPID!
That is fairly typical of the Nataf era for his Defys.
It isn't my cup of tea but then I was not part of the target... So my opinion is worth less than 2p in that case :D
However, considering how many people working for Zenith lamented TN's departure immediately, and considering that one of Dufour's first moves was a public humiliation of 59 employees made redundant; Considering the 1887 saga and JCB's attempt to say he did not know (I wonder who signed the agreement with Seiko then) I have come to expect little from LVMH group.
And Zenith used to be among my favourite brands
'Against stupidity, the gods themselves struggle in vain' - Schiller.
I like it!!! :bom:
While its not my taste at all and the price not justified, the built quality and detail is impressive; will not be easy to sell at 12K though.
Had a chance to handle a few in the past year. Wonder if they will get a cult status in the future; now that Nataf  is gone and Zenith is taking a new direction.
Just think, you could have a Patek for that, or a Blancpain, or, well anything that someone who had any appreciation of horology would appleal too...
THAT (zenith)on the other hand , is a marketing mans dogs dinner.... :sad3:

Sorry, not my cup of tea, but then there is a market for unreadable faces with exposed movements
No still minging
Part of me wants to say fugly the other half of me is thinking what are the resale prices like :?
Yes, horrible. But don't be too hard on Nataf. His unreadable face with exposed movement formula also produced some rather nicer results. Not many but some. Well I think so anyway.Originally Posted by plw

Jeez.... If I was the incoming CEO (or whatever his title is) I would be asking some serious questions of the Sales Director.

Be careful writing things like that, a moron once called me a t**t for such tongue in cheek blaspheming. :wink:Originally Posted by SternG

i,ve just returned from cheshire oaks they now have tag heur outlet they had this particular model inside the shop in titainium,rrp£16k reduced to around 8k,there were also afew other models including the reserve de marche, retailing about 6k reduced to just under 3k, i wouldn,t say it was ugly but i felt the same way about the rolex deep sea when i saw that too big and would wear like a brick, the de marche i felt looked quite elegant and would hold it,s own with any rolex and with a 3k reduction looked quite tempting.
Wouldn't be for me
