    Sorry I've been away

It's been a busy time getting ready for Christmas. But I'm trying to get on here :-) actually I'd rather be skiing more than anything else... With all the family of course

    Re: Sorry I've been away

Welcome back - we all come and go a bit, particularly around Christmas. Most of us probably have other interests (except when the hunt is on) which take priority from time to time.

Life is a balance .... err, what watch will you wear skiing?

    Hi Victoria,

I enjoy ski-ing as well, not because I ski but my wife goes every year with her sister so I get a weeks peace and quiet

Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year.

Hi Victoria, you really need to prioritise your time a bit better. It's no use coming up with things like children, running a home etc as excuses for not being glued to your screen with TZ. Now come on lets have some banter, and the reply to the question,
what watch WILL you be wearing when you go skiing?
    All the best.

Yes I am back :-) and as for excuses... Well!

The best watch for skiing IMHO needs to be slim so that it can fit under a glove... Hmmm, perhaps that means a quartz battery rather than a chronometer (which I tend to find are more bulky) but then again a nice watch is a nice watch and so the best one has to be the one you feel like showing off most when you get to the bar on the slope - for me it would be either an Omega, Vuitton or poss a Cartier.

Of course I know for you lot the rolex would feature high on the list *smile*

I do have a PO already as it happens though it is a very manly watch. The model the Nicole Kidman wears in the latest ad with the diamonte bezel is lovely and o would happily wear that.

    Welcome back and Merry Christmas.

I Wrecked my knee last christmas skiiing in Switzerland and Morzine :( Still not right - at least a good friend I've met this year is a senior physio - free treatment is always good!

I took my Milgauss GV skiing last year (it didn't help with the skiing)- but almost any watch would do - mostly protected under a good pair of gloves.

Not overly keen on the LV watches - but at least thery don't seem to have taken the same route as Gucci.

Smaller size PO's look good and can't wait to see the 2010 model in the flesh - looks amazing.
It's just a matter of time...

How about a JLC Ultra Thin - every woman's nightmare or best friend, depending
If the glove fits, well what can one say?

    Merry Christmas.

Hi SD, or should I say Sherlock, I think I'm just a stupid Watson. Do you think this 'victoria' is a dealer of ill repute or trying a scam or something. Please send me anymore deductions you have to mull over.
I'm interested to get to the bottom of this.

Yes, there was a thread that just vanished a short while ago. Will the real Victoria C please step forward.

    Re: Sorry I've been away

One thing that i have noticed recently on tz-uk is a bit of a pack mentality where several members gang up on an unfortunate individual and hound them. I think we all know the background of Victoria C as she was fairly upfront about it in one of her introductory threads.I think that all of these innuendos etc in a thread where a member apologizes about her absence on the site is un-called for. Tz-Uk would be very boring indeed if we hound out people like this that we seem to be doing so with increasing frequency.
Have a good christmas break to all.

That may be true in other instances. All that has occurred in this thread is that one member has made an allegation (yet to be fully supported), and everyone else is trying to guess what he is talking about.

No one has drawn any conclusions yet! :)

I don't usually get too involved in this kind of thread, but I am laughing my bottom off here.

The moment I saw his/her avatar photo I clicked. But of course, being a gentleman I wasn't going to say anything  . I think Vicky/Victoria/Brian whatever is having a bit of a chuckle. S/He pretty much gave it away elsewhere by saying she was six foot tall and didn't have slim wrists.

Personally I couldn't care less what people's proclivities are. A bloke in a dress is always just a bloke in a dress, but so what? There are much worse things they could be doing with their time. I guess some transvestites like watches too. Crikey!
