That Girard-Perregaux chrono fly back gets my vote every time. Best of the lot I reckon !
I agree with this sentiment.
Working a few minutes from the Royal Exchange I pop in there quite often and have dropped into WF about three or four times. The experience has always been the same,...

If you wear the DSSD every day, sell the SD.
If it was me I would keep the SD which I prefer hugely. BUT if you haven't worn it for 2 years and need the cash then it's silly to keep it. If you wear the DSSD every day, keep it.

I have sold two watches through them and everything went fine.
If they are near you so much the better, you can take a look at the piece in the metal and the paperwork before committing.
A tip...
I seem to recall one of these sold at the antiquorum sale the other day.....dare I ask if you were the buyer?
It's a lovely watch and a good size too. In extremely good taste.
Do you have any...

I was expecting Jean Claude Killy, instead I got Jean Claude Van Damn. Technically it's interesting and a departure for Rolex which is to be applauded. But those looks.....it is such a shame that the...

Only about £450,000....
Where do I start.
Girard Perregaux produced the world's first wristwatch (for the German Navy)
They produced the torbillion with three gold bridges that was so amazingly precise that after some...
It would appear one example in 'excellent condition' sold for USD$1350 in March on WUS

For my own part I really love to browse their stuff...
The reason you should never wind a watch on your wrist is because it can exert an uneven pressure on the winding stem - by taking it off your wrist and holding it you exert a smooth even winding...
For what it is, I rather liked it. And let's face it, a watch freebee is not something to complain about, despite the strong Bremont presence. And actually there is nothing wrong with that anyway ...
Would agree with the take on this piece as above. Up to a point.
Yes you are paying for what would basically be a common movement (albeit a 727 which is better finished, higher beat, and more...
A recently acquired Girard Perregaux chrono with valjoux 72 made around the mid 60s has just been in the workshop for a full treatment...and my watchmaker informs me that it's never been serviced....
