PM me with details of what you need for this.
Thanks
Jon
hmmm..
i would always advise starting on a larger pocket watch before working on the smaller watches, at least you would have a bit of experiance before you break... i mean repair the smaller...
Big fan of your creation..... thanks for sharing..
Off the top of my head around 500 gbp, website has been updated recently..
You learn something new everyday , the price range sounds reasonable....
I think this is the one - thank you all so much for the ultra fast responses !
Aha, I was wondering when that would come up, this is something that I would be interested in, rough value for a clean one from that year?
Thanks for the quick reply !
Thought it was about time to get a birth watch, I am a fan of vintage but have so many!
Any ideas on a chronograph from that year?
Thanks in advance
Jonathan
What I don't get is why they would sell the watch when they don't have it?
Goldsmiths in Brent Cross shopping Centre are always good - i asked them where i could get my breitling strap shortened and they just did it for me, i bought the watch on a cruise a week before....
...
Has anyone got any repair notes for the 2370 caliber, its only a cheap pin pallet movement but its a good looking chrono
Thanks in advance.
Jonathan
I would love to take one apart ... Anyone :p
Incredible..... been searching for it every day.!!!! - should of searched before for this..
thanks so much..
Seen this on another forum (different watch) - its an incredible restore!
lol - are they sure it wasnt the Burlington Arcade!
Im guessing thats irrelevant - still paying for it!
Im a big fan of restorations, thats a great restoration story..
I would of commented earlier but i assumed all these posts woudl be in mods & wreckers!
im a fan, however the only annoyance is when the put text on the dial (like the original post POWER, TOUBILLION) , it cheapens whatever design is on the watch...
The BHI have a chinese...
Major fan.....
would love to have a go at making my own, whenever i have spare parts from my watches, my GF takes them and makes some steampunk "earrings"
Waiting in Anticipation... thats brilliant - we all could be wrong and the seller is just a really bad photographer and just "assumed" it takes batteries!!!!
then again.....
Yep, they did the 8240 Chronograph movements aswell, im a great fan got a few with that movement, however the spares are getting scarce!!
LOL - ive gone in there twice,
1st Time - on my day off - not interested......
2nd Time - ( i work around in the area ) - pounced on me as soon as they saw my watch/suit combo.....
had no...
I never understood this as they cant exactly get any real value for them due to them now being on the register, more money would prob be obtained by breaking down for parts.
you cou;d try sourcing the movement yourself, saves the leg work, then take it to any watchmaker!
Great work, this has given me the urge to have a go, i bought some indian "Anchor" stuff about a year ago but never even opened it.
Thanks for the sharing
