Could any member please advise me on why all of a sudden, I am not able to upload photos to the forum via Talkatap?
Never had any issue before day!
And now just get advised that there is a problem...
What a disaster in the making.
IMO, an insult to what was originally created to be used as a dive watch.
Who in their right mind or not would ever use it as such.
Though perfectly aware that is...
OMG :cool-new:
That is an amazing collection of Seiko timepieces.
Have you got shares in the company :wink-new:

I have emailed him.
Had one of his para straps before, it was long wearing and suited the watch perfectly

Thanks to another forum member.
I will soon be the owner of a G10. I think that is the correct model!
But though I don’t mind NATO Straps, I personally prefer 2 piece Canvas straps.
Can anyone...
Once again thanks for your help :-)
So, over polished to remove the scars etc?
He has offered me £770 as per his website, though on eBay its £850, after I pointed out the difference!
Its taken me decades to realise and fully appreciate your statement!

I have looked at that one, but not sure whether Sinnlover was highligting the softness of the case.
Also like you, I was sure whether it was from 1976 or 79 as the case states one...
Thanks Sinnlover that’s great advice and information.
Will forget the diver.
What do you think about the other watch?
1975 would be the ideal choice, but any year within my service time.

In my opinion it’s better than the OEM....
Thanks Mike

No, the plan is still to stick with one watch.
And this will make the perfect watch.
Besides the price was, imo, very good.
The Sub will either be passed onto the family or sold.

Having recently seen my old Patek 5227R on the FS forum. It got me hankering for a PM dress watch. That I can wear instead of the Sub.
I would have loved to see the 5227R sitting back on my wrist....
Awesome, amazing clarity with no loss of focus.
Would love to see it being filmed on a dry lap.
This arrived last week and imo suits the “ Tool” watch look.

When men were men and sheep ran scared.
Not like the overpaid Oscar winning performances of todays so called professional footballers.
Very sad news and no age at all.
Condolences to his family and friends.
