I've been living overseas (HK) for the last 8 years and been supremely inactive on here in that time so apologies for this being my first post now I'm back in the UK. Hopefully I'll be around a bit...
I've checked (had lunch today with JLC Asia CEO and had one of the boutique managers check inventory globally). There is one available new held within the Asia inventory. If you are seriously...
I've asked the senior folk at JLC here in Asia if there is any showing on inventory. I'll know tomorrow hopefully.
[QUOTE=endo;5118107]Caught up for a few drams with Gusmac last night, and in our horological meanderings we started talking about Hajime Asaoka, a grail of mine should I ever be so fortunate to be in...
Pity the dates don't work Mike... would have been fun and a couple of interesting new pieces I could have brought along. Hope it goes off with a few firecrackers!
sigh!
I may be back in May for two days and then again in June for a week. Sorry I'll miss this one. I'm sure it will be a cracker.
Hope the green Pioneer gets added!

but not sure I can justify the trip back on this occasion! Enjoy!

Thanks Endo for organising and delighted that I could come along even if only for a short while.
the Moser Pioneer on rubber (I was the one with the black ti and rose gold) works really well and...
Long time no speak Endo!
Your thread has drawn me out from a long hibernation from TZUK following my move two years ago to HK.
I had dinner with Nicholas H and Bertrand Meylan here in HK when...
I've been watching this thread with interest.... I moved overseas (HK) end of last year and have been busy with my head down so not posting much recently. I really should do a bit of a HK update as...
I have often thought, during my more moribund periods of watching and reading rather than posting, that our tastes are similar. Particularly for JLC. However this SOTC just shows how wrong I was, but...
Well that's convinced me! Off to order one for my 16613! Thank you!
exactly my thought. Not right in my eyes!
dont do it!!!!! Yours is lovely:)
All good tips! Thanks! Once work settles down I look forward to exploring:)
Thanks for that! Having just moved here to HK I will be searching out some of the better watch shops for second hand stuff. Must try them.

Indeed. In no small part due I suspect to the move from JLC to MB a few years ago of Jerome Lambert... A gentleman who did great things at JLC and is clearly having a considerable design influence at...
have Pm'd you Ally.
I really enjoyed watching yesterday. As stated Barduil's descent of the Tourmalet was impressive. I rode the Tourmalet and Col d'Aspin last year doing it in reverse to what they did yesterday....
Hope you enjoy it! Did it a few years ago in my Maserati Spyder with Matt Monro playing.... Also did the Stelvio and a good few other passes.. Great memories!
me too!
