I would agree with this practice, as it seems to work quite well. The one exception is an Omega Seamaster GMT that I have. Given the lack of quickset date, it's worth keeping this watch on a winder...
Go to the User Control Panel and look under the Options panel on the left hand side of the screen. You will see a link to "Manage Drafts". You should find the saved draft of your reply there.
