The legend of vox machina is amazing.
Arcane, whilst not new, is almost a 10/10.
Currently watching The Last of Us, so far it's a pretty good adaptation of the game.

Did mine last year. It's genuinely one of the best things I've ever done. Went from -5.5 to 20/20 vision. Think it cost around £4k, and worth every penny

Cheers gents, appreciate it. I will indeed be prudent and look for something else instead

Good advice, I was /am inclining to steer clear. Just wondered how much of an issue this can be. As if just aesthetics, then I'm probably ok with it (though resale may be harder down the line)

Hi folks,
I'm looking to get myself back on two wheels after a slight hiatus, and in the market for a Harley.
I found one which seems like a bargain, but with one catch...it's got a few broken...
Nomos, Sinn or a Tissot PRX would be good.
Alternatively you could get him something vintage from his birth year

The blue is the bastard child of the Brosnan watch and NTTD. Overall it looks ok, but on close inspection there are a few things that look odd, particularly the seconds hand, the lume pip replaced by...
Whilst searching for an Aqua Terra the past few months, most ADs or OB I've been to have only offered a paltry 3-5% discount...or just a free strap.
The days of 15-20% off are sadly truly over

New or used?
New: sites like goldsmiths etc.
Used: Chrono24 is a good source. In their "sell" option, there's a field for them to do an automatic watch valuation

SV650, had a few of those and they're ace.
You can also pick up a cheap Daytona 675, one of my favourites to ride

Agreed, it was like watching Taika Waititi's hubris unfold for 2 hours, sprinkled in with terrible jokes and those damn goats...

It's not controversial, I think the 2254 is one of the best damn watches out there and is always my go to for most days, even surpassing my Speedie.
Similarly I find the lugs, the slimness and...
I think that Steinhart OVM particularly on a jubilee bracelet would be the winner. Alternatively as others have suggested, A zodiac Christopher Ward, Cettina or even Baltic would do the trick

For me, it has to be the humble Omega 2254.
Slim, unpretentious, elegant, torch-like lume, timeless design with a military touch, and perfect for most occasions. My daily go-to....
I agree. The colours are ok, but getting rid of the boat deck dial means it's more 2 dimensional rather than 3, losing its texture and more akin to the first gen one.

Did you replace just the bezel, or also the crystal?

Nothing beats my modded 2254 with the non-ac (applied) dial. It's been my grail for many many years and I finally found...
