That’s the reference. Inky, purple dark blue. Very pleased with it. It’s the accuracy that’s astonishing.

Bought this earlier in the week . . . I was only browsing. Incredibly accurate, fraction of a second so far. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220226/3de8145d2aeb766713264dcb0faefb75.jpg
The 37mm is the better one in my view - I have the 15450 and it’s big enough for me and the 41 was too big (same calibre). Now, they might be too pricy as used buys compared to new a few years ago?
Stunning in gold.
I just got the new Patek Calatrava in rose gold. It’s a tiny bit over budget but a 5196 might work as well. First gold watch and enjoying it.
Moser look fantastic so do the Vacheron FiftySix three...
Zen Internet are the best UK ISP. No faffing with never ending price hikes, top technical support and you get static IP addresses. They actually answer the phone.
Fantastic read, thank you.
Unusual is good; enjoy with a smile.
Agnelli : wearing his watch over his shirt, that takes some guts.
The Lange is astonishing.
I must say, the Moser are very good looking, rather lovely.
Very nice indeed, something special as it your dad’s. Simpler times back then.
The second dealer were fantastic, no faffing, no pompous nonsense and no silly lists; I hope they were pleased in went to a ‘regular’ person who’ just likes watches and had been saving for years.

I looked at a Syflake yesterday and thought it was fantastic, their newer watches are getting better and better all the time. A technical tour-de-force; there’s nothing else like it. I’m sure you’ll...

I was very lucky that circumstances meant one was available so soon, very lucky indeed. I put a couple of pictures in the new arrivals thread. I didn’t take up a offer of an Aquanaut on allocation a...
That’s nice, much prettier than much of their more recent line up to my eyes.
Temping, really tempting. I’ll leave it a bit to see if they they get in touch about the other watch I enquired about and then I’ll tell them what a bunch of so and so’s they were. You’d think I was...
I’m in no rush, I just don’t like being given a load of BS. Anyway, one phone call yesterday afternoon and I found one so I went and bought it today.
39mm and from a different angle this time. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210501/80c8a993ed06b0bae9c7308ebf5b61a2.jpg
It’s quite big, it’s the maximum I can go to and my eyesight isn’t great so needs to be easy to read, the other references were too small. It doesn’t sit right yet because the strap hasn’t softened...
Finally, the stars aligned for me (apologies for poor quality picture).

Yes, I’m going to look at the Vacherons again and a few Lange too after all the faffing I experienced - I’m going to keep an open mind and buy whichever I reckon is the best.
I’ve just remembered. The first time I called them about a month ago I said I’m interested in a watch for a birthday present for my son and another one for me. First thing they said was “*is it a...
