I got a present of a carbon fibre watch winder box from Singapore a few years ago. Two of the four winders have now stopped working - I guess due to the motors packing in.
Can anyone recommend a...
Just received one from citiwide in Holland for £340- all looks in order
Decided to pick up one of these monsters. Any tips on the current cheapest place to source one?
Many thanks
I was trying on a Datejust 2 today and the dealer was very keen to offer 2yr interest free.
Does anyone know how much this costs the dealers and will they ever discount the upfront cost rather...
I have seen a datejust 2 at watchfinder but it has no box or papers- is this a major no-no?
Guidance appreciated!
I was given a Mitch & Marc watch winder as a present in Singapore a few years ago. Two of the four winders have stopped working and I was wondering what my best repair options are?
Thanks
It would have a great lume though!
Tourneau on East 57th for high end watch porn and various hard assed jewish dealers on West 47th (Diamond District) for hard bargaining over all sorts.
A lot of people had various design/aesthetic complaints about the Deepsea but these seem to be gradually eroding over time as most people grow accustomed to it. I think this may happen with this...
I am looking to buy a Ball Engineer World timer and was wondering whether anyone had any experiences on the sort of discounts available from ADs in the UK?
I think EJ and Jura are ADs.
thanks
It is not slate grey but the grey dial on the new all steel Rolex Datejust (116300?) is really tempting me to blow £4800 on a watch I don't need!
Lord Coe has said that any spectator wearing a T- Shirt with pepsi logo will be turned away due to the coca cola sponsorship. Does this mean that anyone wearing a watch other than an omega ( and...
1 rolex day date II in platinum
2 patek world timer

Last time I was there (2010/) I was looking at the Hublot section and turned around only to bump into Didier Drogba. Strangely he didn't collapse clutching his face and screaming in pain!
I don't like yellow gold but the white gold version is a great hefty watch with a super bracelet I but I wonder about the fluted bezel. However the platinum is actually 40% heavier and available with...
I would really like to get a true auto world timer that shows the time in 24 cities at once. Obviously there is a great PP that fits the bill but looking for something are a lot cheaper but still has...
Does anyone know when these will become available in the UK and at what price?
The pictures look very impressive and while like the size of the DJII the gold bezel never did it for me.
thanks
Are these casebacks often used as an easy way of saving costs on precious metals in high end watches (with savings pocketed by the manufacturer)?
Any indications on price for this one?
I have the same concern about the size. The DJ2 is a better size but the proportion seems a bit off to some people. Also it is probably 3k more expensive than the DJ1 options you have been looking at
Why dont you call up some of the airport shops to get the vat free price?
They will generally hold a watch if call up and pay a deposit but am not sure if they stock panerai (WoS at heathrow maybe?)
I have worn a rolex for years whilst playing golf with no problem. However i have recently switched to wearing a garmin gps watch which tells me the time and how far i am from the green!
That said...
That hurts!
If i buy one will the success follow?
