For me the whole MoonSwatch thing has been marketing genius, but I personally haven’t liked any of them. In part it’s that they are landfill fodder, not being built to last, but also that they are...

Not at all dead for me, like and enjoy them as much as I always did.

Perhaps humans have always been like this, whether it's the FOMO effect, or simply missing profit. But it seems people want...

You’ll definitely find them way cheaper in Japan, especially right now as yen is so weak. Older models (SBGA011) coukd be £3k or less, even factoring U.K. tax and duty. Exceptional value.

It's a watch I never tire of, the finishing is superb, and the contrast of the slightly darker sense from the titanium with the fresh white of the dial I find endlessly pleasing. And the mesmerising...

    Franck Muller identification

Franck Muller designs never seemed to resonate with me, but saw this image posted online and rather liked it. The work on the dial, indices etc work very well. Unfortunately it wasn't posted with any...

Interesting the other’s comments. I have a few GS, and have no issue telling the time in low light. The polished edges always pick up some reflection, and can pick out the hand positions easily.

So much I like about this - dial, hands, spring drive, caseback etc. if it were able to be on a strap it would be...

The customs bill is only what's built into every watch price in the UK. Having to pay it in isolation makes it more obvious (and painful!).

Presume Ryan would have had the Japan tax discounted...

It seems to be getting a similar very mixed reception over on Omega Forums.

Can understand it - the current iteration was a bit marmite with size & ceramic, but if the scale and look are your...

Likewise, I simply couldn't. Indeed I can't fathom the scenario where I COULD be bothered looking it out and putting it on, but COULDN'T be bothered setting the time.

Those are the parts which intrigue me. It's not too long ago that there were shortages of some models, but by far there weren't shortages of all models. To some extent can understand the price rises...

Can't know what the original colour tones would have been, but here it is with white balance adjusted to have the case something close to normal. It does somewhat settle down the difference between...

I've always liked those, but can depend on the colour combination - that's a particularly nice one. Always found the pop of bronze on the bezel edge really works well on these!
