Is there a law that all red 12 watches must have a subdial at 6 o’clock for the seconds?

That’s lovely, what is it?

Lots of watchmakers have produced Red 12 watches and I think it’d be good to see some of them together on one thread. I just got this Mappin and Webb Campaign watch and I’m wondering if I could make...
Not new to the forum but new to me, a lovely wee Mappin & Webb Campaign watch.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20231028/f1f20a5e1d1c200916dc1b0a678297b9.jpg

I’m left handed and I’ve always worn my watch on my right wrist. Got a Pelagos LHD a few years ago and while I love the watch I find it really difficult to wind or adjust. I have to hold it upside...
I had a Berlingo and it was pretty slow and dull to drive but the boot space was incredible. Other option for carrying 4 dogs is a pickup with a hardtop, that seems to be the favoured option for...
Glenlivet is a good tour and visitor centre in a fairly modern but traditional style distillery. Excellent cocktails in the Visitor centre bar if you’re not driving. Macallan is a very different...
I happened to be in Laing in Glasgow today at midday, looking at an Explorer. One of the assistants noticed I was wearing a North Flag so brought the new Ranger out to show me. Seems a decent watch...
Scotland not on your list of possibilities? Your money would buy a bigger/better house (well except in Edinburgh) and the countryside for walkers is superior to anything down South.

Some lovely whiskies there, that Johnnie Walker XR is rich like a good XO Cognac, quite different to the rest of the JW range. That no-age-statement Glenlivet isn’t great, don’t let it put you off...
There’s not an exact percentage that guarantees no chill flock as there are too many variables- wood type, blend composition, worst case storage conditions you’re allowing for. Malt contributes a lot...
Original reason for colour was pretty reasonable, which was to keep the colour uniform. If you saw a row of identical whiskies in a shop but one had a different coloured liquid you’d think something...
Funny how often chill filtration is mentioned as a negative thing. I’ve worked in the whisky industry for 30 years, several of which were spent designing filtration systems and being involved in very...
Best place to ask this question is the Snowheads forum. The answer you’ll get from most people there is go to Solutions4Feet in Bicester. I’ve not bought there but I’ll probably buy my next pair...
North Flag no more - glad I got mine earlier this year, I think it’s a great watch

If they put the in-house movement in it then I'd buy one. But for now I'm very happy with my North Flag.
I find my Pelagos LHD very comfortable to wear and I love the look. Doesn’t fit well under many shirt cuffs but it’s not meant to be a dress watch.

Looks like a Tudor Black Bay black with the bezel missing.

First watch I’ve purchased in Sales Corner and I’m really pleased with it. I’m in the process of moving to the North of Scotland to start a new job so that finally gave me an excuse to buy a North...
After wearing my Garmin for most of last year I put my Pelagos on a few days ago. Just gave it a few winds to get it going then wore it all day. It stopped at 6am the next morning. Wound it up again...
Two weeks until I start my new job, working for Chivas Brothers and based at Miltonduff distillery. I’m looking forward to seeing what malts are in the staff shop. Hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be...
