Thanks all. I thought it was likely to be worthless but have tried finding a similar one in old Catalogues as I can't understand why a Chinese copy shop would make something original but supposedly...
Hi. This is a picture of my late fathers watch which he had for some years. I've no idea where he got it from but I've looked on line to find one like it and can't find anything that looks similar. ...
A couple of adverts from a magazine I use to work for a while ago. These are from 1976. Wish we could get them for this price now. ...
But how do I know this is a legitimate customs charge without a copy invoice from them? TNT might have just made a figure up.
A couple of months ago I bought and received a watch from OCW, Australia. Yesterday I received this invoice from TNT. I'm not sure if it's a scam or genuine and wondered if anyone on here as had...
It's only a couple of mil in thickness and radius. I think my photograph is slightly misleading as the older watch isn't standing as tall on the bracelet so looks smaller than it is.
It's on my wrist but take your point [emoji4]
After searching for a Rolex which I thought suited my skinny wrist and failing to find one I liked I decided to by another OWC from Dan in Australia. Dealing over the Internet with him is an...
For what it's worth I've been looking to buy my first Rolex for about three months now and have not bothered of asking questions about a couple which I quite liked but had no service history. Had...
If you'd like to flip the Milgauss this way . . . . . . . . . . . :-)
Good set with interesting selection though.
I'm sure you will enjoy it - I'm still looking for my first one :-(
Thanks for that AKM. Just what I needed. Perfect. [emoji4]

Don't see where any screws go. It just...
I bought this Tag, for the wife, from Rick on the forum but after a couple of weeks the pin came out of the bracelet. Just got it back from a dealer in Leeds who says they can't repair it as its too...
Interesting thread as I'm now looking to buy my first Rolex as well. There is just so much to learn . . . . .
I loved the seagull as well. Almost ordered one but chickened out as I worry about its robustness.
I've really enjoyed all the Passarounds and trying watches I wouldn't necessarily have previously looked at although I can appreciate the hard work organising it and how anyone would get tired of...
Must be near draw time [emoji4]
Some brands I'd never heard of so I obviously can't afford them but a great revue. Thanks for sharing.
I need to start looking with eyes fully open. Lovely find and great looking watch.
I received the Seagull this week. What a pretty watch it as and the photographs doesn't do it justice at all. The colour is wonderful.
I have to admit I thought it was broken when it arrived...
After all these great images from camera phones there is no excuse for "sorry for the poor iPhone image" in any SC postings now :-)
It's 2015 already. Any news?
I really do like the face and hands but would need to try one on as well as my skinny wrists often let a good watch down. If anyone buys one who's near me (Leeds/Wakefield) please let me try yours...
The white with blue hands is just stunning but what do I know :-) it's all about how it wears on your wrist that counts into what makes a great watch.
