The photo is dated 2012. Yes it is a lovely watch and there is great pleasure in all such watches. Here is another JLC I like which I bought in 2010. Save for a Dornbluth sold to someone on here I...

A few have commented on the bar in the Lange date window. What may not be immediately obvious is the date is made up of two elements, a units disc and a ten cross that revolve one above the other....
Although there are some technical differences between 401 and 402, I don't think they amount to anything significant enough to sway the buying decision one way or the other. That really leaves only...
Many thanks to Simon and Jason for organising a great evening. It was good to put some faces to User names and discover some unexpected areas of common interest other than watches.
I didn't quite follow the bit about not being able to "display your wares so they stay in the safe............what I don't wear and enjoy, move on for something that I will" with spending £65k on two...
Handed watch in in September. Have just heard it will be ready at the end of February 2015 and as there are no problems with the watch it will be just £1315 please.
White gold can work quite well on a watch such as the Day Date with presidential bracelet which in yellow gold can look a bit "gold".
