Thanks for your reply, mate, and comment on the watch, appreciated.
I know these movements weren't the best, and parts are getting harder to find if required, hence the post for recommendations....
Hi, looking for recommendations for a service/possible repair on a Omega 'Jacques Mayol' st396.0900 quartz cal 1337. The watch has been lying battery free for about the last year or so. I have tried...

I like watching a few films but I had currently nothing lined up, a quick look through this thread highlighted this a couple of times. Well worth a watch and thank you to the members that mentioned...
Unfortunately weve had nothing but clouds and rain here since last night. If you get a chance of a pic then please post it :)
We have never used templates as such, a quick google search, let the kids and grandkids choose something. A light drawing with a pencil/pen and then cut-out as required
I've been using accuweather too, found it too be ok but if sitting st work I do tend to double check it against bbc Scotland weather. Also windy Wilson if on FB
Very true which is why I said each to their own. If they already have those other things and that takes their fancy then fair play to them :)

Some of you lot are showing your age ;p
Coldplay and Oasis would be my 2 faves, although I'd say the one song that I never tire off is Snow Patrol - chasing cars
Only 650K, each to their own I suppose. I think I'd rather spend that much money on other things...
I heard it on the radio this morning and thought wtf lol.
After watching that video and seeing a 25 minute journey on foot took 90 seconds with the jet suit that definitely could be a life saved.
Thanks for the headsup, I had no idea it was back on.
Def no where near what it used to be but as someone who likes his cars I'll watch it anyway :)
Ouch that's a sore one :(
Hopefully your on the mend now, stay safe.
I'm watching it live, love this kinda stuff, really amazes me :)
I actually thought you were serious there.... and it was regarding watches! Thankfully you jest :D
It's been a nice day, all day here, now the clouds have rolled in and rain is forecast anytime from now until the morning.
Great pics murkeywaters :) unfortunately its still light up here in Scitland even at night time and then got cloudy later on.
Thank you PickleB and murkeywaters, it is appreciated and it'll give me something to read up on over the next day or so :)
Perfect, thank you very much ;)
On a side note did you by any chance have a read of the reviews, the 1st review in particular? Haha
