It’s riddled with problems apparently. I’m using an old Humax Freesat box which works great but I’d like to upgrade. I’ve steered clear of buying the UHD-4X. I’d stick with Manhattan or Humax.

Something like this…

I’ve no experience of this particular box because it’s new and we have Freesat. I do like Manhattan boxes...
They actually do a smaller square now without the Baby G branding. Various colours.

Check out the smaller G-Lide range too

If you decide on the basic DW-5600E I’d wait a short while because it’s getting the ‘U’ treatment. So it’ll have the better, more efficient LED backlight (5 year plus battery life now, rather than 2)...
Yes it does. Press and hold down top right button for 3 seconds until LT appears on the screen.
I have something similar to this, bought it from the Trespass Outlet and it’s been a great coat. Super warm being windproof and super waterproof (rated at 20000mm if that means anything). Nice price...
Have a look at Lebara too, they piggyback Vodafone. We use them, my contract is only £4.50/month but I don’t use much data. Obviously bigger data packages available, my wife has 20GB for £9. Just...
Has anyone mentioned the new Citizen Promaster Tough. I think I like it but need to see it in the hand. I’m wondering if this is replacing the BN0118. Not a fan of textured dials but maybe it’s not...
I have Freesat, going on for nearly 6 years now with a Humax box. Never looked back. No way would I entertain Sky again. Looking at the channels available on Sky Stream, most are available on Freesat...
CD shredders on Amazon start around £30. Not too expensive if you want peace of mind.

Looks great David, is that one the 284 from watchgecko? Of the two similar straps I found the US one slightly more comfortable and a better size with less overhang.
Don’t forget the UK site.

They do a 20mm short, would that...
That’s quite reasonable I think. Compare that to the alternative watchgecko 284 (only in 22mm) and they are 140/80, so much bigger. Unbelievably now £62, seem to remember they were £28 last time I...
Uncle Seiko do the GL831 in 19mm. Not sure without checking how long it is but I find the standard length a reasonable size and not long at all. My favourite Seiko strap by far and super comfortable.
Thanks David

Aren’t most straps like this. I’d not really considered the notches. They just give the strap a little more width. Just looking at my Tuna on its OEM strap and this is the same with the side...
I’m not sure what you mean David. You mean the cut out ridges, three on one side and two on the other? It is a curious design but it’s never bothered me, you just don’t see it on the wrist. Plus it’s...
I don’t think you can beat the Uncle Seiko GL831 straps on the Seiko divers. They’re so comfortable and not too long like a lot of other dive straps.

This for now. Might change to the Tuna later for a night out

The aftermath of a 9 year old birthday party. The SBBN045 was the perfect tool watch for the job. HAGWE

Nice one! I’ve always wanted to try one of these but the price puts me off slightly. I imagined it would be an expensive experiment, especially as I’ve tried several times already with the Nokia. Did...
Which one have you got? I’ve tried the Nokia 110 4g and it’s dreadful.
