I think a clean and late example of a 6.2L C63 AMG is a good way to go, these cars are a dying breed of large naturally aspirated engine that are already going obsolete.

996s turbo's are solid car's and don't suffer from the dreaded IMS issue's auto gearboxes are also very solid, there also not a common sight these days more of a reason to get one.
