Thanks for that - not looking forward to it tbh, so any advice is very welcome indeed :)

No problem [emoji6] I don’t want to come across as a condescending pedant!
Tee hee!
I’d be interested if it was their aftershaves - not so keen on the watches but appreciate the heads-up. As a friendly fyi fashion watch brands don’t gain much/any interest on enthusiasts forums
Personally I’d do anything to minimise the amount of grouting. Panels seem to be the way to go and look a lot neater too. They come in a myriad of finishes and colours.
Believe you me I did! - but my son was so relieved I just gave up in the end - water damage isn’t covered, I guess they assume it was immersed for longer than the specs cover, and I wasn’t 100% sure...
I agree - and I argued about the £60 but they weren’t having any of it. Apparently water damage isn’t covered which makes a bit of a farce of the alleged water resistance. It was a freshwater river...
I had a bad back episode the Christmas before last out of the blue - fell asleep on the sofa on Christmas Eve and woke up feeling like I’d been shot the pain was so bad. Took months to ease off and...
My son had it on a 15 pro max and a few months into ownership - having gone for a paddle only to discover the pocket his phone was in on his shorts was submerged - killed the phone. A short trip to...
Perhaps - I suspect many nerdy founding members of 1980’s computer clubs are today’s hackers or billionaires!
I remember a lad a few years above me at school, so nerdy he was scared of kids 5 years younger than him, glasses and back teeth, briefcase - the lot. I read a few years ago that he’s doing rather...
I’m sure you’re right - actually I’m hoping the IT interface becomes a bit less techy and a bit more basic, and I suspect more lightweight and cheap options will appear soon.
Tbh I’m pretty open...
I even find myself Looking at the Dacia Spring and thinking it’s all we as a family really need in a second car, sure it’s probably got 100 miles of range in real life but if they are cheap on a pcp...
Having driven our Cupra Born on the commute almost exclusively for the last couple of months, and occasionally taking the Fiesta ST to remind me how to change gear and make fruity noises I was...
It’s certainly not the case that your feet don’t do any braking in an electric car - I had to do a fast stop the other day and stood on the brake just like you would in an ICE car. Regenerative...
What a ridiculous, dopey video of Americans whooping when they shoot a gun at point blank range and seem pleased to have hit a truck from 15 feet away. America, heck yeah! - glad I don’t live in a...
On my first date with my wife - we’ve now been married 28 years - she apparently noticed my Submariner (bought aged 19 with my first bonus from work - I think it was slightly less than a months wages...
Exactly. And if I lived in a place where that was a common occurrence I’d drive a very boring car indeed with as little appeal as possible.
And 4 years later, my £150 Karcher K4 still lives in the garage, looks knackered and still works perfectly!
Back then it was a fairly easy diy job or any garage could fit them. Most of the time it was a liberal spray of ‘back to black’, a buff with a cloth and job done - then down to Our Price to pick up...
Makes me long for the old black plastic bumpers that acted as protection for the car as opposed to a pristine painted surface ready to be damaged! - and if they did get damaged you just bought a new...
My wife’s friend had a similar scrape in her new car (well, looks similar in the photo) and whilst she was telling my wife how upset she was I popped out to have a look, literally 5 minutes later...
Does the ridge on the crown have a purpose or is is just a design detail? Something about is has always put me off buying one of these - just looks odd imho
I have a BB58 that I wore more or less daily for 18 months and the same thing happened. Sorted eventually in 2 visits to my AD - first time it came back with very rough hand winding, second time it...
If they’d put a decent seat in an MG4, and place it far enough back so it could support a 6 foot 2 17 stone TZ member it would be a good start! - I test drove an MG4 next to my current Cupra Born and...
