That's a fair point. I was thinking of a Sub no date but they aren't quite equivalent in function

I really like the watch, the red writing always gets me haha
But £7,600 is a tough sell in the current environment for me. That's getting towards Rolex money (equally unobtainable I guess)
Ugh, ditched Rolex for this reason. Might just wait and see if they become available 'off the shelf' again. Can't be bothered with this crap for a watch :(
Like these a lot. I managed to try one on in my local AD (Prestons in Guildford) along with the Ranger (which I did not like at all) but it was a ‘leave your name with us’ situation. I can understand...
While I have an appreciation for the photography which is where Ming’s reputation comes from, in the flesh and on the wrist I was a bit disappointed by my 17.06
Didn’t quite look or feel as good...
The Rolex effect but cars. Can't get one new so used prices are going mad!
I used to upgrade every year but the pace of change has definitely slowed down a bit. I’m on a 12 Pro Max and the announcement barely registered with me this year!
Gosh, as the parent to a 2 year old this is the absolute worst nightmare. So, so sorry to read this and thoughts are with you and your son's family
Just checked mine off the back of this... currently on a 1 year fix ending Feb 2022 so we're ok for this winter but looks like it's going to be an extra £200-250 a year when I do have to renew...
People who have bought from Ming in the past, what customs/VAT do you get hit with?
Is this watch really £11k or more like £13-14k?
I like the bracelet... watch is trying a bit too hard though
Not sure about this new line, but love mine. Will never part with it

It's a shame that this happens. Severe lack of policing (and funding for police) doesn't help, most of these never get solved either because of lack of resources.
Is this a power indicator on the back? Where it goes A-R?
I absolutely love this (as I was saying to Mark when I picked up a Seamaster from him yesterday), price is something else though! Could have a few other very nice watches on that budget
Wristie... may not mean what you think it means :la::la::la:
Wondering as I might go in if they do start afresh. Never bothered in the past!
Interesting, I wonder if they will keep all the waiting lists or start afresh?
All varieties available just now in Prestons Guildford too.
Tried it on and just too tall for me. Lovely watch face though.
I have a monolith coming but think it's due in March.
Good to see it out in the wild!
Like, like, like... oh it’s £7.3k. I’m out!
Clever, but can’t see how that would work when you have to rest your arm/wrist on anything?
This article can’t be for real right? If you buy a watch from a retailer, pretty sure it would be breaking GDPR for them to give your name to the manufacturer for starters... so how are they getting...
The problem is, there are so many nice watches out there that it’s impossible to own them all unless you are a billionaire. So the opportunity to trade means you get to try a few more out.
...
Suspect £10k is in the right ballpark, they are going for a little more on Chrono24 but I guess private sale would get you a discount?
