Over the past couple of years I've notched up 5 marathons and several half-marathons.

wife never really "loved" my watches until I got my PAM... She seems non-plussed about my incoming Rolex but I'm sure she'll change her mind once she see's it in the flesh!

Just for info - in a reputable Rolex dealer the service is €550 in France (upto €660). It may be worth taking your watch to the other side of the channel.
just an update on this - bit the bullet, saw it & pulled the trigger yesterday. The watch is now away for servicing & will be with me in a few weeks!
Nah :) this is to add to my Pam 510 - I got the Rolex itch and it needs scratched. Even if I decide at a later date that it's not for me, its still a solid investment?
