I don't think it's about replacing one with the other. The discussion is smart watch/activity band/whatever in addition to a regular watch. Of course a tech gadget will be a cost on top of the other...

I meant watch of ANY type. FitBits are worn on wrists and while their main purpose is something else, pretty sure they tell time also which makes them watches in my opinion. Just like I wear an Apple...
