I bought the Polaris Date about a month ago and I really like it.

Would be JLC for me. Great range/variety, good brand/image, and always quality.
I found this thread because I searched for "Tudor Heritage Bronze". I really like the look of the new Bronze Black bay but I am slightly concerned that I also like the red bezel version in the...
My Seiko Monster does this. I'm not sure if it's really a healthy thing to do. I don't really mind on a disposable watch like the Seiko but I'd be cautious doing it on something nice.
Even more PN-like, the Marui Speedmaster (in its similar 40mm size):

If you don't mind the black subdials, you could go for a Marui Speedmaster like this one of mine:

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chrono. The current model will be more than the Snoopy but the older variant still looks great (and is much nicer than a Snoopy IMO):

I have a 5001 which I wear almost everyday with my suit for work. I also love wearing it with casual clothes. Despite being a fairly dressy watch, it's almost non existent bezel gives it fantastic...
Has anyone seen, bought or worn one of these yet?
I've never seen a second hand one for sale anywhere and there is a whole lot of info available on the web if you want to buy a new one.
I have a Classique (like the one you linked to but without the moonphase) which I got as a wedding gift from my parents earlier this year. Its an awesome piece of kit and gets lots of admiration...
How about a Marui Speedmaster? (JDM Only, not sure how many were made but its pretty rare)

Lack of a date
Numerals that are cut by sub-dials
Cyclops
Quartz
That would be a very cool thing to have in your collection but why is it "the most important watch in the world"?
SCHAFFHAUSEN is spelt incorrectly too
Its a Quartz so I guess we're going to be surprised that its either £10k or only a fiver. Somewhere between £50-£150 is what I would actually expect it to cost.
It was my birthday this week and the wife bought me two IWC 5001 7-Day Automatics. This one...

Would never say never but the following have never managed to interest me so far:
Alain Silberstein
AP
Ball
Bell & Ross
Breitling
Bremont
Hublot
Longines
The white gold (black dial) Duometre Quantieme Lunaire. That's the one for me.
You will lose far less from wear on the watch than wear on the car. Use them both and enjoy them as you're meant to.
That's gorgeous!
Interesting little videos in that article.
I'm sure this technology will become mainstream over the next year or two but I can't see Pebble being the platform that will become mainstream.
The...
You guys do realise that when you go in to a shop looking to trade a watch in or just get cash for a watch that you are the salesperson and that the shop is the customer don't you?
Scrutinizing a...
For me it was a Seiko BM for the first 8 months of 2013, then I acquired a Speedmaster from another forum user here and that's had the most wrist time since then.
Found it on a different review. Its a 42mm case.
Thats a really good looking watch. The PDF states 36mm but I'm guessing that's just the movement? Anyone got any idea what size the watch case is?
