I think this thread is inspiring me to reflect on my eating habits particularly around refined carbs
Modern petrols can be surprisingly frugal and are generally cheaper with servicing costs. Also the winter fuel economy seems to be hit diesels harder than petrol. I'd be very tempted by the petrol,...
Isn't it something not only to do with carbs but also how refined or unrefined they are and how much time it takes to digest.
My only question with a low carb diet is can you loose weight...
The Nomos looks superb and relatively rare.
classic dateless designs. should last another 30 years really
I agree, the Explorers are very much undervalued and great at creating the understated yet elegant look
Looks really nice. The design to me is still striking many decades after it was introduced in original form
Completely agree with the last point. Superb watch.
Let's put it another way and forget about the Speedmaster homage, which chronometer type watch would represent the best bang for the money that is automatic and at the sub £500 price point?
I guess that's a bit like Marmite territory
That's a shame as I'm probably looking for something in the middle and don't mind spending a little more
Any automatic suggestions rather than manual wind up and also any suggestions that are closer to Steinhart in quality?
Hi all
Quite like the look of the Omega Speedmaster moon watch, don't want to go for the whole hog at this point
Any suggestions regarding any automatic homage watches based on the Speedmaster....
Pelikan fountain pens are pretty awesome and in many ways smoother and often cheaper than MB
Hope you get better soon.
I agree advertised low prices can have the opposite effect and drive up the final price, through greater interest. Bit of a sales trick I think
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but not one for me however
This seems to be the general consensus on Steinharts - very good value for money but can't be compared to Rolex
Sounds really tempting if this happens
I don't have many watches but try and keep them - each watch has sentimental value
Agree it seems a staggering amount to pay, despite my enthusiasm for watches
Ultimately price is based supply and demand factors, restricted supply for a given demand will increase the price
Just a little too big even taking into consideration the latest trends of large watches are my humble thoughts on the watch.
That looks amazing and not seen one before
1password is pretty good.
