Apologies. My significant misread of Schofie's post.
EDIT: The post below involves me being a complete arse. I'm not deleting it to in order to make it clear to everyone how poorly I misread the post. Apologies to Schofie.
Indeed it is.

I got your joke :winkskull:

That is not correct.
Various forum members have had RSC's replace the stock crystals (with cyclops) for ones without. Notably a Sub ND crystal on a SubC, as the ceramic models now have...
No cyclops for me.
Although you need to be wary of chopping them off of modern Rolex, since they have taken to using AR underneath just the cyclops. Removing the cyclops leaves a weird AR spot...
Of course everyone collects differently.
Personally, I collect towards two platonic ideals:
1) Three hand diver
2) Pilot/military chronograph
Thus far, the best exemplars of these...
They closed in 2014 when Herr Sinn retired. They re-opened recently under new management, but with a similar mission statement and many of the old designs.

I'm neither a "keyboard warrior" nor upset, but no ad hominem attack will remove the fact that you stated something that was blatantly incorrect and were disproven by your own evidence. If anyone is...
... and the OP seemed like such a pleasant fellow too. What a shame. :winkskull:
Same could be said of almost every watch ever discussed on this forum. So I guess it's time to close up shop then, right?
And the article you cite essentially says that it's an old wives' tale. So thanks for citing evidence that you're wrong.
From the article you cite (emphasis mine):
I thought the issue was a need for a thin back to maintain a sufficiently loud alarm. I think I read something in that regard from a reputable source. Will try to find it again.
... found it here:...
Nah, you don't really like your keyboard. You've just been taken in by all their fancy adverts.
DI300 is very nice. And very affordable for what you get.

Generally, watches are a terrible investment.
Very nice watches. And you can never go wrong with a L5100.
My one issue is that I have trouble finding a good bracelet/band that works with the pillow/cushion case shape. After trying a lot of...

A tad big at 45mm.
And I can't tell from the photographs whether the dial numbers are reflective or not. If they are, that's also a downer.
All winners. Can't make a bad choice.
Seems silly to keep the sticker on, especially when the sticker looks well worn (and frankly nasty). A quick light polish and brush will bring the caseback to pristine condition if that's ever an...
Who's Matt?
Seriously, the SD4k dial is "satin" which isn't quite as reflective as the "glossy" dials on the regular sub, but is not as dull as the "matte" dials from older Subs/SDs. The...
