We were in Buenos Aries last week and I was mugged in broad daylight on a busy(ish) street and my IWC Pilot Mk vi was stolen. Nothing else was taken (not that I was carrying anything valuable)...

It was remarkably low key with one bidder on phone and one in room but the price rose relentlessly.

Pre sales estimate was £1800-£2000 but look how much it made. Why? Was just the red Arabic script?
