Far easier to read a 30 minute subdial. And realistically if it reads, say, 5 minutes then you should know if that means 5 or 35 minutes!

I don't like the idea of bank transfer, but what if you don't know the seller but they agree to send a PayPal request for payment, describing what you are buying?
In theory that gives them the...
OK, since H&V is appropriate for dealer testimonial, I have copied my post to a new thread there.
Any moderators reading this welcome to delete this thread...
If anyone else would like to add...
I thought I'd give J Herron and Son in Blyth a shout for being really great to deal with. No affiliation except as a customer, and I won't post a URL in an attempt to convince you I'm not a spambot....
I'm not remotely competent enough to comment on choice of movement, but we've seen Time Factors watches with lots of movements including Japanese.
In that rendering, possibly the main reason for...

indeed; where else could inspiration possibly have come from?
Let us know how it works out!

Have a look at the Marathon Navigator, it's nothing like a diver's watch and feather light. After a dive watch you'll keep checking your wrist to see that it's still there.
It does have a...
Marathon Navigator worth a look. Genuine military issue watch; the civilian market version allegedly identical except for a couple of dial markings (and carries NSN). Feather light. Very nice...
On accuracy: I can wear mine all week and it is within 10-15 seconds at the end.
I also have a Sumo and one of the new Baby Tuna (aka shrouded monster) and they are nearly as accurate.
The...
I have handled both the gold and the "plain" silver/white versions (not pepsi). I would not criticize the gold, but I don't think it is quite as nice as it looks in photos; and the plain one is...
That last bit was a joke BTW in case anyone is suffering from a sensitive referendum.

No it is simply incorrect to do as you suggest.
An increase from 20% to 22% is a 10% increase (or a 2 point increase if you want to refer to the absolute difference).
If the government put...
Seriously (aside from the point made above that I should have stated the 100 EUR was ex-VAT in my example) what do you think is wrong?
20 × 0.95 = 19

Ah yes, I got it the wrong way round.
But if you'll permit me a pedantic point, it is 5% lower.
On a 100 EUR purchase our VAT is 20 EUR and German VAT is 19 EUR. 19 is 5% less than 20.

Those VAT rules apply in the EU, never seen any discounted prices on US wen sites for foreign sales. We can hope for a trade deal of course...

Importing from the EU could (without a trade deal) in future mean paying UK VAT.
But at the moment you pay VAT anyway - in the seller's country. (That's why prices are lower for non-EU...
Lots of information at http://dutycalculator.com/
But I'm pretty sure it will just tell you 20 per cent VAT.

I totally agree, they are on a different planet.
Where you may be mistaken is in thinking that the rest of us are on your planet; we're actually over on theirs. Third from the sun, mostly...
I'll go for one (or if available, possibly a couple).
Seiko and Pulsar offer 100m WR without screw down crowns, as on the PJN305 for example.
It's probably not safe to conclude that yours shouldn't have a screw down crown, on the basis that the...
I have a PJN305, and it doesn't have a screw down crown. It also looks very similar to your photograph (though a slight change in angle can make a big difference to how it looks). The crown is...
If it reduces smoking it'll cost the NHS money. Smokers are more likely to die without lingering into old age with a long list of expensive chronic conditions. If you want to save the NHS money...
