So different when shiny!

When I had my PRS18A back in the data, I experimented with an MIIK dial with a date on it. I changed it back before flipping. Of course, I now regret selling it (which I did to help pay for the...
It turned out that I would not have been able to justify the price of the Sewells to SWMBO, so I settled on a Steinhart Ocean One 39mm with which I am well-pleased.
I have had one of the original “England” PRS18A models with ETA2824-2. It was my first timefactors Watch. I regret having sold it. I did also own a PRS18Q for a while.
It’s been a while. The last timefactors watch I bought was my PRS30, for my 40th birthday.
I shall be 45 next month.
Current timefactors watches owned (after years of flipping various...
The most likely watch to be worn by any soldier, including SASR, is a G-Shock in the field or (in-barracks) a Garmin Forerunner.
How ridiculously officious. It's not as if we can't fly in the cabin with the battery installed. Still, Australia Post is little better. They once refused to send an iPod with its (non-removable)...
2mm, or the smallest flat head from one of those cheap small screwdriver sets you can buy anywhere.
Enjoy your Crown Lagers mate. I was handing these out all morning (how to votes, not lagers).

Thanks Chris. I was also quite chuffed that I got 007.
My new 40th birthday present today, on a "Panerai-type" strap from Strapped for Time. My wrists are too thin for the otherwise beautiful included straps.
...
You'll have it for years. I'm just going to let it happen.
So frustrating, mine is sitting in "the presents cupboard" until my birthday, on orders from SWMBO. At least it gives me time to wait for the two 120/70 straps to arrive from America.
I see.
Hirsch liberty has small, round holes that likely will not fit the bronze buckle.
Oh good. I really regret flipping my 53, even if it was to part-fund my 22.
Indeed. Funny thing is, at work today as I was spending $$$ on straps for my 6.5" wrist, I was wearing my Davidsen radiomir homage, with a custom Toshi in situ! I didn't even look at it closely, as...
I just got done over for AUD$198 tax and customs clearance. That's put the watch over $1500 now, so I am happy that you are all ecstatic about it (as will I, when it gets here).
Oh well, we only...
I ordered one black and one brown of these:
They have 22mm buckles and the holes look rectangular enough to take Eddie's bronze buckle. The Hirsch Liberty would have been ideal, but it has round...
On the way!
Adding up, this must be the 8th Precista watch I have bought, not including the SBIII LE or two vintage Precistas. I have flipped a few though....largely to pay for others.
Can you get a 24mm NATO?
Not that I want one. Just wondering.
I hope mine is dispatched soon; there's a lonely space in the winder waiting to be filled.
