I was born in Cornwall and now live up north. Somerset.
My brother in law is an engineer who makes tiny gadgets, and models of enormous insects. He once made a tiny robot snake that you could drive inside a drainpipe. He even gets paid to do it.
We...
I've got this theory that car auctions are probably the last remaining vestige of reasonably priced cars; everything (eBay, auto trader, Gumtree) is expensive (in my eyes) at the moment.

I would recommend an RYA powerboat course.
I have a vague appreciation of the water cycle, but really, can it rain that much in one go?
Thanks guys useful info, I'm thinking I should probably get on with it....
I'm seriously looking at getting a 987 Cayman or Boxster in the next 18 months and wondered if there were any experts or owners here. 987 Gen 2 (the 'sorted' variant) prices seem to have increased...
Longer trips just need planning and for you to be prepared that some of the infrastructure can be unreliable. We've had a few mishaps on long trips but for the 99% of driving that we do, home...
It was defo quartz, I went up close to my big TV and could see it ticking, not sweeping. I'm going with Sekonda...

Mine would be a Breguet Type XXI in rose gold please.
Hi, can anyone recommend one?
We installed a Rolec 7kw charger with lots of cabling and an earth spike so it's all tickety boo.
I had, however, asked for a Rolex for my birthday, sigh...

Just a very small watchmakers flat screwdriver, to try and prise the strap away from the lugs and find the ridges on the spring bar. It feels like the watch should have drilled lugs....
It's no good, I'm totally unable to locate the ridges on the spring bars to get the strap off. Any suggestions? It feels like the spring bars are sat within tubes...
I ordered my I-Pace 2 weeks ago, delivery expected at the end of the summer. Excited!!
I really like the Pelagos but can I ask about the titanium strap (the case is steel I think?) - does titanium scratch easily?
I had a titanium watch a few months back, brain said "heavy watch"...
I drove to my stricken wife, sat in her car with a flat battery, in the middle of the night, with a set of jump leads, rather than making her call the AA.
Who says romance is dead?
Andy you're a legend, thanks very much, will probably PM at some point is that's ok.
Hi, might be a bit early but if anyone drives a 230KW E-Tron I'd be very interested to know what the real world range is like; unhelpfully the internet reveals somewhere between 120 and 240 miles....
I was just going to ask the same question, so thanks for this! £1,792 pennies somewhere down the back of the sofa surely....
The one I tried had a space saver in a bag that took up half the boot space, but I understand it also comes with a repair kit.
It was very impressive and 220 miles is better than I was...
