Same thing that applies to a lot of brands, Bremont in particular: not a great value proposition. If there were priced at Christopher Ward levels (or even 2x CW levels) it'd be a different case...

Theoretically, if I take a Rolex, remove the movement and stick in a Miyota and sell it on as a custom piece, would that be permissable? What if I replace every part except for the dial (i.e. it'll...

Seeing as the only team outside those three to win the RWC is England, I'm pretty confident it hasn't happened before. You'd expect only a winning team to have played all three.

The watch head itself I like, but that bracelet just looks cheap and outdated. No chance I'd take this over a Royal Oak or Nautilus (if I could afford either right now!).

Roger Smith wears one, and calls it incredible quality and value.

I agree with him, great quality and excellent value, especially if you can get the one you want at 30% or 50% off.

Yep, looks like it's 40mm, which I'm led to believe is the older version. Probably preferable I'd say, though it may have been sitting in a warehouse for a few years by now.

    GO Senator Perpetual Calendar

Seriously tempted by this piece on Drop (Massdrop); looks totally captivating in the real photos I've seen of it. Anyone seen one in the flesh?

Don’t think people are suggesting it’s a fake, more that the seller isn’t gonna hand over the watch. I.e. it’s a scam.

Looks like Nomos have come out with their first bracelet. Looks quite nice, sort of an alternative to a Milanese strap.

Was the one watch per brand an intentional decision or a coincidence in the pursuit of variety?
