Ha ha! Love your post :adoration:
The Bel Canto Phoenix has now arrived from Switzerland and undergoing Quality Control checks at CW, Maidenhead.
Some pics of the prototype attached. Three of the pics are with the Phoenix sitting...
Indeed, the Maritime blue Alpine Eagle is really quite something.
I do agree, but in the hand you start to feel and see significant differences. In complexity, finishing, feel, materials and weight. But all are impressive and hold their own.
The Alpine Eagle...
It wears super comfortably, light and v slim. A watch you can wear all day and forget it's on your wrist. I love it.
If you need/want weight, go for the steel version. But the fumé blue dial on...
I like it a lot.
Coincidentally, I’d only got it a couple of days before this review appeared. It gives a better perspective than I can give.

Thanks all :)
Yes, I was very lucky to be allocated the Maritime Blue one, as I absolutely love the dial.
My recently acquired watches with "out there" extreme dials. I thought the group might enjoy the pics.
A bit of a Fire & Ice theme with the limited pair of Chopard Alpine Eagle "Tiffany" Maritime...
A nice in-depth review of the manufacture/brand here:

When I said "I removed", I refer to my scoping/designing. Hence "removed" meaning these text items (e.g. Made in Germany) are always on these dials, but text I deleted was never engraved onto my...
Thanks for sharing that Dave :)
They use a pantograph.
Thanks again all.
Really nice to see old school watchmaking so appreciated. And the customisation too, as I had expected my choices to be rather marmite, as this one was a one-off piece only...
Thanks all for your extremely kind and generous comments :)
There is a v good review of the brand here: https://youtu.be/moPHxraLIyA?si=4Th1jJr39F85OYmZ
sweets, the strap is indeed Geckota,...
Thanks all :encouragement:
I agree, and it's just how Dornbluth named it (Worldtime Regulator).
I call it a GMT.
This finally arrived.
D. Dornblüth & Sohn
Weltzeit Regulator, bespoke piece unique. It’s the 10th watch they have made with this movement. The watch is almost entirely hand made using old...
Yes, Aventurine is stunning when done well. I almost bought a Lange Saxonia Thin a couple of years ago, but am now glad that I passed on it.
Yes, I see it as an Art watch personally. Agree...
It comes with quick release bracelet and strap. I bought both, as I like to change the look on some watches.
I think so too. I have two "normal" classic moonphases, but this is so different...
It's just a design decision. I agree though, and told CW at the launch that this is the only thing I would have changed in fact.
On my bespoke design VULCAN XII, I removed all text in fact.

C1 Moonphase: "My God, it's full of stars"
This is a watch that needs to be seen in real life, so I took some decent pics today with my dSLR and macro lens. These were taken in direct sunlight....
Thank you kindly :)
Yes that's correct, a bespoke for a car club.
Mechanically and structurally identical to any Bel Canto, but limited to 99 pieces and with different dial, hands and case-back.
There also 300...
It's a watch forum, so I thought some members might be interested in seeing a unique watch that's coming next Spring.
