There are other models with shorter lugs, e.g. the Metro and the Minimatik. I like the way the Minimatik wears on my fairly small wrist.

Yes, once. Trouble free. Many denimheads seem to use them.

The tinny rattly endlinks on my original SKX007 jubilee are getting too lose for them to not stray past the lugs when worn and I can't get a proper fit. So now I've ordered a Strapcode Angus jubilee...
I like that. Congrats!
What is that kind of bracelet called? It looks dated but in a good way, if that is possible. Is it comfortable?

Holy smoke! I'm surprised you lived to tell the tale. I would've thought that the packaging is suited for much colder temperatures that sous vide, e.g. the fridge. I don't have anything to back this...
You can see the process for resetting it in the PDF Spacemaster posted a link to.

No that's incorrect, sorry. You use it to do a full reset.

It's been a few years since I had one but IIRC it's the date corrector.

Not sure if this is of any help but my Minimatik was gaining around two or three seconds per 24 hours last time I checked it. I think it runs like this consistently but haven't checked it thoroughly....
Hmm... interesting. Perhaps it is worth shelling out for a proper vacuum machine then. If only they didn't take up even more kitchen space :-/

Some of the best meat I have ever had was sous vide. Only cupboard space has been keeping me from seriously considering one. Now that is no issue any longer with the immersion heaters.
What is...
I bought that exact version just before they released the blue one. I love it and I am actually glad I didn't know about the blue dial, choosing between the Metro, the Orion and the Minimatik was...
That looks great! Saw that one in real life and it is incredible thin and elegant. I went for the Minimatik instead after a lot of thought and the realization that Orion lugs are borderline too long...
I like the Ole Matthiesen watches. They are quite popular in Denmark. I think they achieve a balance in the design that many similar designs does not. If your friend likes it, they are available with...
I also have the Rancilio Silvia and consider it a great machine. I don't think the single boiler is that much of a problem since you can learn to work around it by timing the steps between espresso...
Well. My Iron Rangers held up for a few weeks of wear and now the heels on both boots have separated from the uppers. There is a gap between the welt and the uppers and I can see the small nails that...
I don't have much experience with cordovan except from cordovan boots. I would think it would make nice strap but probably not buttery soft.
You could take a look at Tender's vegetable tanned...
I like both the watch and the photo. I have yet to see a Moser in real life so I am curious as to whether it works well as a casual watch or mainly a formal looking dress watch (whatever that means)?...
C&J Connistons are great boots. I've had a pair for a couple of years and I really enjoy wearing them. Fairly conservative without looking to dull. I bought mine after I'd had my Grasmeres for a few...
Sorry, no pics. But it looks exactly like this sole on the Ice Cutter which you can see here: http://welldresseddad.com/2014/01/31/review-red-wing-ice-cutters-boots-for-dad/ .
My boots look good...
Iron Rangers are great. Mine are 4 years old and I certainly haven't been babying them. They have been worn a lot in all kind of conditions including heavy rain and snow. Four years down the road the...
Thanks Mark. Think my PRS-10 is staying on its nato though ;-)

Interesting! Do we have a picture of this somewhere? Searched but no luck.

Yeah well, if I had bought them to be sturdy wet winter weather boots, then yes. But these are regular weather boots for general wear and while the shell uppers can take a bit of snow the leather...
Congratulations, and I completely agree.
I picked up a pair of Yuketen Daniels wingtip boots in Berlin last weekend at 50 % off. Still an absolutely crazy amount of money to spend on a pair of...
