They are indeed. The thing about these oldies is, that they're scarce as hen's teeth. You can find some info on a 7924 Big Crown here:...

Have a nice Friday+weekend!
I’m always in for some Tudor adoration! Here’s mine, a 7928 from ’63 which has taken some beatings over the years.

Well done, that's brilliant! Very difficult to find an SM300 with the hands in such a good original state. I'm quite jealous now actually... :ambivalence:
Spot on. I hate to read about...
That's spot on as far as I'm concerned. Enicar has been quite popular lately, and there will be more to follow. Certain mil-chrono's make for a good candidate indeed, or maybe a brand like Eterna or...
Very nice.[/QUOTE]
Cheers! It is, a joy to wear (occasionally that is - these old beasts need to be cherished).
I would keep it if I were you. It's lovely.
I don't know what has been offered (none of my business) but unless it's crazy money, I wouldn't consider it if you weren't considering selling it...

That's a nice collection you have there Andy, well chosen! :eagerness:
I think a vintage chronograph would make a nice addition indeed. Maybe an issued chronograph?
This French/German collaboration again, love it!

New shoes on my Vixa. HAGWE!
Not for me, as I'm on Longbears side. The ultimate toolwatch aspect (watch made according to demands and specifications which the MoD thought was necessary for the users) doesn't apply in your...
Still can't figure out why they called it a 7923/001. The 7923 was the only Tudor sub with manual wind caliber, and this re-issue features an automatic movement. Why not call it 7922 or 7924?
I have nothing more to add. This is what it’s all about as far as I’m concerned.
And about the Vixa Type 20 engravings... This is what they look like:

Briljant stuff in this thread. I love vintage tool watches!
This is the only remaining vintage diver in my collection:

Not even close. This is how such a watch should look like:

Indeed, it's the Hanhart 417ES. Partly due to the McQueen-connection a much sought after watch. It was also issued to the German Bundeswehr (a predecessor to the Heuer 1550SG). It is a damn cool...
Well done! I really like those DeVille's (superb case/lugs) and the Armadillo bracelet is spectacular; I've got this particular model on my radar for quite a while. The only thing that holds me back...
Never did Agung, but the Rinjani trekking on Lombok is highly recommended. It's a hard climb (hairpins? Who needs 'em) but the reward is breathtaking. One of the best views I have ever witnessed. I...
The pilot would be my pick, I really like that one. The chrono is a bit too corny for me.
Give G. my regards. I would buy his watches blindly.
If you're considering a B-Uhr... According to this review http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?67512-I-bought-a-watch-today the most recent Laco is very well built.
Thanks!! :occasion14:
