Definitely read the terms & conditions. Especially surrounding value and how they will / won’t cover certain items etc
I have had a year long battle with m&s. Only just managed to resolve things...
This makes perfect sense.
Patek have done something similar for some time now.
Should you wish to claim please be aware that your valuation, perceived valuation or market valuation is irrelevant.
Aviva / m&s use a company called hallmark. Hallmark in turn offer valuations...
Thanks for the excellent advice Mitch.
The plan is to discuss things with the AD further. They have a watchmaker on site which I should be able to chat with. If we all agree it's not right then...
A quick call to the rolex service centre who confirmed that they worked on the watch and are happy with their work.
I am surprised by this as the watch has picked up a number of marks and I am...
I will give the AD one last try at this. They currently have my aquanaut which I am a bit nervous about. Hopefully they send it to patek and don't try fiddling with it.
The blnr will be dropped...
The bad luck continues.
Collected my blnr from the AD. Got home to notice the watch has some minor scratches on the clasp and some scuff/marking on the case back. The watch went in as good as new...
Good to know that these issues don't seem to be widespread.
I guess the bad luck will lift with the next watch purchase :-)
I think I'm on a run of bad luck (watches only I hope)
I was lucky enough to get the call the day the 126710blnr was released. I've had the watch and enjoyed it until a couple of months ago when...
It's a no from me. Wearing a fake watch doesn't appeal to me.
I recently joined the Glasgow redbar group. They do take some time to respond so a few weeks of a wait would be normal in my experience.
At my brothers wedding one of his guests introduced himself to me by grabbing my arm and asking if it was real. The watch in question was my newly acquired 126710blnr.
Slightly surprised I said...
I took the evening to decide.... big mistake. I stupidly talked myself out of buying it.
Full of regret.
Thanks for the input gents.
I agree with the comments regarding the movement. Never having tried the watch on I do have a slight concern regarding size. Fingers crossed it's a non issue.
The...
I have the opportunity to pick up a black dial version. The blue dial is and has always been my preference but I feel passing on the black dial might be a mistake.
Having never seen either in the...
Second this.
Very good and the app is cool also.
My 4 year old has had hers around a year now and it's been great. Customisable, washable which is a bonus.
You will be very happy with it. It looks and wears so well on the wrist. It is very comfortable and the jubilee just looks right.
I was lucky enough to get mine 1st of may. I had been on the list...
Lovely watch.
@wotmotorsport_ltd
Fantastic watch in my opinion. I'm not saying this as I have just listed mine in sales corner.
I love the look, the dial is lovely and I'm a huge fan of the lume.
I'm only selling due to a...
100% yes.
I am in the process of a reshuffle to accommodate my 5167a and certainly wouldn't hesitate doing the same for the 5968.
As said, Hamilton & inches. Lovely building as well.
I was fortunate enough to puck my 5167 up from the AD a couple of weeks ago after a long wait.
I must say that the watch is even better than I imagined. The quality, finish and design just work...
Thanks. Chrono24 might be ideal.
EBay can be troublesome. Worth a shot I guess.
Yes for as much as possible. No different to many who have been in a position to buy a desirable watch to then sell on at a profit or indeed a loss.
