You could do alot worse than the Smiths Everest or Speedbird, I have both and they are defo keepers.
Timefactors watches seem to hold their value very well unlike a Seiko Sports watch I purchased a...
Speedbird and Everest ?
Then again I am biased owning both.
Nothing to add really bought one of these when they first came out nearly two years ago and not a single regret or desire to flip it.
Time keeping as a few people have remarked is excellent mine...
And what movement would that be ? Perhaps a quartz option as well as a mechanical one could be an option.
I really hate to differ, but I think the Everest looks far better on a quality leather strap such as a Toshi.
Just my tupennth anyway.
Decisions decisions I'm torn between this and the Dreadnought.
Would be nice to know the prices on both watches though.
Its a draw between my Everest and Speedbird for all the reasons given by Everest and Speedbird owners.
Preaching to the converted really.
Can vouch for that once used some on a heavily scratched watch glass crystal and whilst not perfect did improve the appearance quite abit.
Just bought one of these off Amazon UK £130 del inc all tax duties.Built like a tank alot of watch for the money usually retail around the £299 mark in all the shops.
Yeah the watch thickness became an issue for me as well so much so I sold it to fund a Speedbird.
Would be nice to see a digital version with thicker hands and a sapphire though.
I put off buying a SB111 for a while because I thought the price was an issue, however I sold my PRS5 and put the proceeds to buying one.
Wish I'd bought one sooner its defo a keeper the...
Er I believe the Speedbird does have a slightly domed crystal and being a Speedbird owner and actually seeing an IWC in the flesh I echo what has been said that I don't see £4000 in one.Its not that...
Nothing to add really.I purchased one of these watches before reading this review and they are indeed alot of watch for little money.Swiss craftsmanship, automatic movement sapphire crystal retails at...
Should ve gone to Spec Savers :tennis:
I'm lucky to have both. The Everest is one hell of a bargain for the price and its a real mans watch, does look very nice on good leather.
The Speedbird wears ever so smaller the bracelet is a work of...
That is an excellent mod.The hands certainly make all the difference and they were one of the reasons I rapidly lost interest in mine along with the plastic crystal which I think makes the watch sit...
I had one of these complete with display back, unfortunately I thought it sat abit high on the wrist so I sold it on.
I am starting to have regrets though.
No probs with mine either. It keeps excellent time as well.:sneakiness:
